I think in the game's canon, ALL humans have some reploid augmentations in order to lessen the differences between the two. So it's reasonable enough that she's more able than a regular fleshbag.

In the game they say that the augumented humans to equal the abilities of reploids and reploids where given life spans or something. So you are pretty much right, Vent and Aile from the first game were called human but had white robot ear things on them.
