16 166 watchers...this song is the sound of my youth. I was 17 when this came out and it still is one of the greatest BM songs "out there". As of 2011 now, I prophesize this song will attract more and more people to black metal.
i'm sick of all the people who say "duuuuh black metal sounds so awful". if you want to listen to good production, clean vocals and clear song structures, go and listen to metallica or some of the other commercialized bullcrap. black metal is a fucking SYMPHONY of pure hatred, agony, despair and the wish to turn your back on all the fucked up shit in our fucked up world. thats why black metal sounds PAINFUL, not poppy. its created from pain, for people who see the world the same way.
@AdrianvonZiegler Metal is more than that, and Metalheads should give a fuck what others listen to so please phrase your words better, Metallica had their 80s, as Burzum had their 90s.. I prefer Old school thrash more then everything and i give cred where it's fits! Metal isn't about pain! it's about strength melted with poetry.. and Metalheads can Write about everything they want! I don't listen to metal cause it's sad and filled with despair, i listen to it because i enjoy it! =)
I agree completely with you. You just missed one detail: I was only talking about BLACK metal. And that genre got created by people who hate what our society has become and express their disagreement and their anger with music. And dude... the way our world is at the moment IS painful to me.^^
@AdrianvonZiegler Im from Norway, and i love Black metal! i used to date the sister of the bassplayer in Mayhem, they are living in Ålesund, So i know much about it, but i also realized being angry over something that happend 1000 years ago, it's a waste of lifetime, i Hate christians, but i give fuck, I give a fuck about everything then what intresst me, thats the strenght of Metal, what Genre, doesn't matter, But im Glad there is other out there that Loves Black metal just i do :)
Well I'm not only angry about what happened 1000 years ago, I also highly disagree with our current society. Just turn on the TV or look at the billboards in the city, it makes me sick what I see. But I don't have to explain that to someone who loves Burzum as much as I do. xD

Yes, religions are serving for all the most cruel crimes in the world as an excuse, which is sickening me. Hey, thanks a lot, I'm glad you like it. =) Making music has actually become my job. I compose on guitar and keyboards and produce the sounds later with Magix, but I'm thinking about turning to Cubase.
