@KaribiGirl It's Tales of-series. There are many games of it and most of the stories take place in different univerums entirely, so the only thing keeping them under the same name is the fighting system and some story elements

The first "Haruhi" is main character from Tales of the Abyss, Luke fon Fabre, and there is even anime series of that game. (I haven't seen it yet, but looks promising)
