Yeah, stealth rubber in general is great on brick but horrible for metal surfaces.

not true at all. the more rubber touching the floor = better grip, thats why formula one cars hav flat tyres. tread ("shit sticking out the bottom") is so water can go in the gaps so u get more grip on wet surfaces, unfortunatly this means worse grip on dry ground.

@rkdude7 Formula 1 cars are made to be sticky when hot, but theyre also flat for more surface area resulting in more grip. If the race is on wet ground, the tires have tred, just watch a formula 1 video on dry ground then wet ground! Above all, its basic science, more surface area = more grip. Basketball shoes will most probably have tred so they can be worn outside, driving shoes have tred and no one drives a wet car (well on the inside anyway)

The internet, YouTube is very helpful aswell, then find yourself a gymnastics gym if possible, if you want to try bigger stuff for freerunning, front-flips, gainers, losers, (Or just try outside your first time and die) etc... And finally see if there are any groups of people doing Parkour around your area. Oh, and practice... A lot...

ive got 3 pairs of the freerunner (5.10 gives them to me for shows) and i love all of them only problem i see with them is the padding. if you dont have your own soles in them your feet will hurt after any jump over 3 feet (having a 2.6 foot jump this really became a problem). but all in all do alot more running in them, and if you make another review video for anything. dont studder, it makes you look unprofessional.

Hey I just got these shoes the day you posted the review and I agree with what you said...

The grip is very very good I mean.. awesome!

The laces are just awesome... they don't untie like my Adidas I have.

I also agree with the grip on wood surfaces... it's not really that good but I just practiced in them for like 30 minutes; I guess it might now work well yet..

If you guys are still in doubt... These shoes are way to go...

I highly recommend these. BUT MAKE SURE YOU KNOW YOUR MOVES!!

I went to a jam not long time ago and they suck on metal surfaces and they are not really good for long-distance running...BUT the grip on walls and trees is like amazing!
