@brollan93 Hyperventilation to cool their bodies. Dogs cannot sweat it out.

We've got one like this and have just got back from Eype but Ichi our Staffy X, who isn't dissimilar to Stella in looks didn't like the pebbles on her paws.
She does however dig in our back garden sometimes.
