To me, the pain feels like a pointy cell phone that's vibrating going into your skin, but the vibrating is like 1,000 times worse.

It's nothing really to be scared.

As well no matter what you will get a stinging kind of feeling even if it is on your arm.

Pain tolerance and the fact a needle is going into your skin.

You want a helpful hint, ignore the people complaining.

Instead of complaining about them... doesn't make you much better in my opinion.

i have to agree i have a tattoo on my right forearm and that hurt like a bitch in some places but it does depend on where you get your tattoo and some people can take the pain and some people that cant

its not bruised. its the ink coming off the needle. it happens with all of them.

i got my first tattoo on my right rist - the heart the same as villes.

then i got a big heartagram on my left upper arm,

then i got villes stomach tattoo on my lower back - 2 hours straight lol

then i got a tattoo which i designed of a small heartagram in the middle of a pattern and the lyrics "bury me deep inside your heart" in the HIM font on my left foot.

i have 4 HIM/Ville tattoos and 3 others of my kids and husbands name.

I have 2 full sleeves. And the wrist is one of the worst parts on the arm along with below your armpit and around your elbow on the inside lower arm. The person below that claims she barely felt it is full of shit. It's usually the sides of my wrist that are painful. It also swells up real nice. Everyone conceives pain differently though.

I just got a wrist tattoo a week ago and it wasn't bad at all. I don't have a very high pain tolerance, but it was still totally bearable. If you really want this tattoo, the small amount of pain is definitely worth it. Good luck!

It's not sore, just like a nipping/burning/scratching sensation more annoying than sore. The one on my wrist it hurt most when it was nearer my palm of my hand and the outline, but it felt like someone putting antiseptic in a cut only hurt for a minute.

I didn't think any my other tattoos where painful well except going over the spine that's weird that feeling!

It depends, if you're getting say a winnie the pooh tattooed on you, the outline no matter the colour of the outline will hurt, but the colouring inside won't hurt as much. They use a thicker or more than one needle and feels like scratching more than hurting...

the 'pain' question, we all have different pain thresholds and different areas of the body are more sensitive than others. I've had two fairly large tattoos done on my forearms and it didnt hurt much, however, i've had a tattoo done just below my belly button, about the size of a large stamp and it was soo painful lol.

Not too sure about the wrist, it is close to bone. But it all depends on pain threshold and where you're getting it done

@ ILJIM: i dont think thats a good idea to get a tattoo only to impress the girls at your school. a tattoo is normaly for the completely life and not for a few years at school. i think when this is the only reason for you to get a tattoo you shouldn´t do it.

Why would you wanna do that? You're going to have to live with it for the rest of your life. Yes, there is technology that can take it off, but it costs thousands of dollars, hardly worth getting the tattoo, and then paying even more to get it off. Getting a tattoo could effect what jobs you get as well. If you're going to get one, make sure you really want it, and be smart about placement.

you shouldnt worry about this at all. im 14 and i want a tattoo and it doesnt make me a bad kid. i think its so cute how she wants to have something that symbolizes you two. i must warn you that the foot and ankle are the most painful places to put a tattoo, and many jobs wont allow visable tattoos. a tatto is something that represents who you are and what you love. she obviosly loves you alot to want you as a tattoo.if you have any other questions or concerns, let me know.

Alot of "desk" jobs will not hire you if you look like a shitball with like your forearm or neck really tattooed up. Otherwise most employyers dont care. I would tell her to not get one thats too damn young. shes gonna regret that later. most girls look like skanks with tattoos right above their ass and stuff...thats how i feel.

well my aunt has some tatoos on her ankle, and when she worked at a restaurant called lone star, she had to cover it up. most guys i know think that its hot to have a tattoo. although shes too young to be worried about that. when shes out of school itll be fine. as long as its tasteful i wouldnt worry about it. the two flowers sound adorable and she will love it forever becasue she will have a peice of you with her as long as she lives.
