Over dose of red wine (water boarding) held down and murdered by cia buddies in his hotel room by his manager Chaz Chandler. Who later confessed to a rolling stone reporter and was himself murdered. His plane went down from a missel strike. The original autopsy report was drowning in red wine. they pumped over a gallon from his lungs (WATER BOARDING) with wine. no one can do that to themselves. Oh yeah he was going to fire mr Chandler

Is it me, or does Frank Reynolds seem pissed off that the news director made him read this death announcement? Frank seems a little put off by the fact that Hendrix's death was considered "news" by anyone. I guess Frank was upset that people were no longer listening to Gene Autry and Pat Boone.
@Stube437 Reynolds died years ago, not long after Reagan was elected the first time, I think. I was a teenager then, and I remember his death announcement on ABC. ... Regarding this video, again, I say he looks outraged that he even had to read this. Have you ever seen such contempt on the face of a news anchor before? It's funny....
Jimi was murdered by the FBI, the CIA, the DEA, the FDA, 3 of the Beatles, 6 of the Hollywood Squares, 9 of the Osmonds, 7/8ths of the population of Parma, Ohio, Doris Day, Chuck Connors, Merv Griffin, Andy Griffith, Fabian, Fabio and Mel Blanc. I have charts and graphs to prove this.
@Bopalena Wow, message me I would like to see them. I heard that Hendrix was murdered, but I always wondered why his road manager waited all these years to tell it.
He didnt die of over overdose the mafia had him killed and covered up by the CIA as part of the so thin chaos which killed other people associated with the black pander like tupac
hendix, morrison, jones and joplin all represented an era of change and transition. i remember the times, preachers were predicting the end of the world by 1970, war and violence was everywhere. the powers that be were afriad of losing status quoe. voices like hendrix, morrison, bryan, jones and janis joplin were capturing the imaginations of white kids with the rythms of legba music, undiluted blues, the music of the negro. it was revolutionary and worse it couldnt be canned and watered down.
WOW...this is such an apparant shot at an already dead man. and what gets me is that the autopsy is not done but they say overdose twice in the report. It sounded like that is what they want you to believe. They hated him because like they said in the video he took Elvis and all their other 'rock gods' to college. He is the truth and the real meaning of rock and roll.
@LotusHacker the establishment hated those "underground" artist. this news report clearly shows that. i am lucky enough to remember those days clearly. they were the icons of revolution which to establishment meant a changing of the guard.... hendrix is loved today but he was not loved by the establishment of the late 60s. as with the doors, janis joplin, bryan jones and the stones. what they have in common? the music of the negro undiluted capturing the imagination of white youth.
"...apparently from an overdose of drugs." Aah, preconceptions... he actually supphocated after he'd taken 2 sleeping pills to get some good sleep before returning to the States. He hadn't been feeling well all day and he vomited in his sleep.
@jb1563700. It's no great mystery. The sleeping pills were barbiturates. If you've been drinking to the point where you vomit in your sleep, the pills will make your system too depressed to wake you. Thus, you stay asleep, the vomit remains in your throat uncleared....and you suffocate. This happens a LOT.

.." he should've been a millionaire, it is not known if he saved his money, only that he's dead." now that is a sad true fact, priceless! Jimi could've been something but he didn't have the mental stanima to last, f*¥k him. Loser failure to rock n roll. Drop out.
dont take this wrong but i think cobain is kinda over-rated , i mean the only reason its cuz he died young , but i mean i think axl rose was better , other than that yh if all those legends were still alive ,it would be awsome
imgaine if lennon, cobain, morrison, hendrix was still alive. god what a world we would live in. I'd give anything to live in the time of at least one of those legends. Well cobain but I was 3 when he died so it doesn't count.
