I've worked with motivational speakers, purchased and watched "The Secret" for years, because it does work, but have yet to surmount the impossible. Although I received the book over five years ago, and have read many other books, I have not read this.
Last April, I won over $97,000 in court, and many things have changed, due to my change in attitude. This is a "training manual." Do the work!

Its the other way around, our brain/mind is like a space ship and our thoughts, beliefs and logical system steer it. Its more profound than that though, our logical system and belief system pretty much programs the space ship and determines where we can and can't go. Its all about logic. Logic is what binds us.

The problem with The Secret's theory is that conscious wishing entails avoidance of the opposite—the opposite is repressed. But the repressed is our real wish even though we fear it the most.

The Secret IS working. I've been raised through it and I've been very successful all my life. Now latest I focused on my economy and career. Last month I've got 1500euro extra above my ordinary salery, I've got a new office and a raise is incoming.

Hi! I saw the movie and I believe everthing it tells. I've always had bad luck, everybody tell me that. They always says I'm a very negative person. And because of that I want to change my thoughts.
But that's the problem. I've really tried to feel happy, but I can't. And if I get that, it's not for a long time. I've tried to feel the consonance of having something, but I dont get that feeling. I really need to change my thoughts.
I was the same way at one point. I thought my life was going to shit and thought i had nothing to appreciate. Now I'm happy and see things much differently. It just takes time and effort. You have to really want to be happy in order for it to work. Just do your best to replace any thoughts of despair or sadness by dreaming. Just imagine yourself in the future being a truly happy, doing all the things you want. At first it feels like work, but after time it comes naturally. Good luck!
The best thing you can do is to focus on the good things that are already in your life. Start a gratitude list/journal and every moment you can write down things that make you happy, feel good, bring you joy, that you love, etc. and for a moment focus on the feeling of that.

The Secret is just the genesis of creation. It gets the ball rolling on the creative process. That is different from saying that it is everything required to realize a goal. Some things are possible with pure belief. Other things require action. You just need to follow your inner guidance.
The things that are being talked about actually is not a secret. I mean when you just think about your life, if it is negative thoughts you feel miserable, depressed, however if it is i your thoughts then you feel satisfied. I just think this secret book and this documentary is a good way to spread this thought but I just cant keep myself thinking that they are doing it to earn money.

My father once said to me that the secret lies in your head. He's still saying that! "In the end, It's all in your head" and he really means it. Hi! I saw the movie and I believe everthing it tells. I've always had bad luck, everybody tell me that. They always says I'm a very negative person. And because of that I want to change my thoughts.
But that's the problem. I've really tried to feel happy, but I can't. And if I get that, it's not for a long time. I've tried to feel the consonance of having something, but I dont get that feeling. I really need to change my thoughts.
Can anubody help me with this?

I was the same way at one point. I thought my life was going to shit and thought i had nothing to appreciate. Now I'm happy and see things much differently. It just takes time and effort. You have to really want to be happy in order for it to work. Just do your best to replace any thoughts of despair or sadness by dreaming. Just imagine yourself in the future being a truly happy, doing all the things you want. At first it feels like work, but after time it comes naturally. Good luck!

The best thing you can do is to focus on the good things that are already in your life. Start a gratitude list/journal and every moment you can write down things that make you happy, feel good, bring you joy, that you love, etc. and for a moment focus on the feeling of that.

I also was (still am for now) a very negaive thinker, I am hoping to change that and turn my life around. And if this helps, I am open to giving it a try. I dont know how it works or why, but thats not important to me. I dont need to know how the internet works to have faith that my e 'mail' can travel over thousands of miles to reach another person;)

The things that are being talked about actually is not a secret. I mean when you just think about your life, if it is negative thoughts you feel miserable, depressed, however if it is i your thoughts then you feel satisfied. I just think this secret book and this documentary is a good way to spread this thought but I just cant keep myself thinking that they are doing it to earn money.

This document has only one big mistake. Money doesn't mean happiness. Maybe with money it's for American more understandable. If I pass over money then The Sercet is very good document. :)

In Torah there is "The secret", but its told in different ways. The god sends you signals at the 3ird part where you can get what you want. Believe me or not, but it does work. I cant understand it, but I see some people around me that uses it.

I posted a few postings but they didn't go through... I have been reading all of these books, going to tony robbins seminars, etc. etc.. Early in life, I achieved a ton of success... but I have never, ever made hardly any money... I am smart, healthy, intellegent, etc... but no matter how hard I work or what I do, I barely make any money at all... the rest of my life, social, personal, etc. has increased massively! What am I doing wrong? Why can't I make any money above poverty? Still broke...

Good for you... In sports and school, I achieved a ton of success... WEnt to college, tons of personal development seminars... and at least 200 books on this subject of the power of believing, visualization, etc. etc.. Why am I so broke? I have always lived on the poverty level, or just above it... My social life has massively improved, health, happiness, etc... but I can't seem to make any freaking money! I have everything else... What the hell am I doing wrong? Why can't I make Money!!!!!

Focus your thougts what you want instead of what you feel you are loosing. To them say "so what!" and pay no more attention to them. There is a learning curve to the Secret but every single person can learn it. Whats the DVD over and over again and make notes. Try it out and listen to your self. What feels good to you! My father once said to me that the secret lies in your head. He's still saying that! "In the end, It's all in your head" and he really means it. He's a professor at universities, teaching and lecturing about sports, but he really doesn't appreciate Guru like peoples, because they're most off the time full of bullshit!)
