IF you can grass launch on its belly or fuel tanks/skids you should be able to hand launch. Taking off like you did looks cool but will quickly go bad when debries enters the fan. I know from experience.
@freemarlochip Agreed. Shown was its maiden flight where this ground launch allowed the plane to be trimmed out properly before attempting a hand launch.
ground takeoff with a plane with no landing gear. NICE!!!! you dont see that every day. So how did you like the little plane? Seemed to fly real good.
@cholubaz It does fly really nice and its appearance on steep turns just sends chills up my spine...it is so JET like. However, on stock 3S it is not a ballistic rocket AND it will NOT recover from a spin so you must be careful to keep the up the momentum so it doesn't wing stall. It's a lot of fun.
