They have very strong muscles and they don't feel much pain, so they (how really, really very suprising :D) like different games than people ;)

@VeronikaHolcnerova I've kept staffordshires for 30 years, they all love tug-o-war and swinging, any old rope on a tree and their on it at soon as they see it, they love playing ball but tend to burst them unless its really strong, then it just takes them a little longer to burst it hehe, you'll always hear negative commnts from those who have never owned a staffordshire, my advice to them is go meet a hall full of them at a show, you'll want one after that.

@Damage9i05 . zero if u meet its needs. walk them teach them tricks love em and no worries. have had 3 staffies (and some bull terriers) none have ever bitten a human cos we raise them as part of the family. if as pup they play nip shove atoy in their mouth and they'll soon get the picture. need to get them used to socialising with other dogs from an early age. difficult cos so many people grab their dogs in fear. shame!

@Damage9i05 get it used to peeing on a large area of several pieces of newspaper. reward it with snacks when it pees on the right area using the word toliet. eventually you can use the word toliet to have it pee on command. also slowly but surely reduce the no of pieces of paper heading toward the door where it should go for outdoors. eventually 1 piece of paper at the door then when its use to that take the newspaper away and next time it heads to the area to pee open the door. might take days

@rachelmartin1977 that sounds like 12months of having urine soaked paper on yur floor, my method with my gsd mix was a lot faster, let him drink a fair bit of water, hang outside in the yard playing with him, itll happen within about 15 mins, than when it does reward him and bring him in the house, a lot more sanitary that way

OK i want to buy that same exact dog in the video but im not too sure about a few things. First off I was told that there isnt any breed of dog officially named Pitt bull that instead they are all part of the Terrier or bull terrier family I guess??? I guess this would be the Staffordshire??? Any way when I do searches on them some look like this one in the video and some are short and stocky with the wide mouths whats the difference??? Is it the same breed? Or are they mixed?
