@hawkblade7 The mah on the battery doesn't make it faster, it will improve the run time but speed will stay the same if you're using it on the stock brushless system.

@hawkblade7 You can change out the ESC and the motor, or use a lipo battery if your still using the stock nimh battery.

@hawkblade7 I can't post links for some reason so here's the information. Here's the basic programming modes for the stock ESC.

1)Running Mode

2)Drag Brake Force

3)Cut-off Threshold

4)Start Mode (Punch)

@MrAllancord Out of the box the brushless ESC is programmed to have the ESC shut down at 2.6v per cell.

@nitrorcx . do you have a tutorial for start mode (PUNCH)? By the way my controller is the one with no antenna attached and i have no idea about the knob with a " D/R " on it located just below the "bind" switch. tnx for d immediate reply!

@MrAllancord The stock ESC's Punch menu should be the 4th flash on the ESC when you hold down the button, and should have settings 1 through 9.

Just got a rally monster today. Charged it and binded it as instructed. It works great for about 30 seconds and then the ESC plastic casing starts to flash red and my car dies. Then i turn it off and on again and it repeats the same process!! Whats wrongvwith my carrrr??? :(

@MrRozzy97 Are you sure that you have the lipo cut off disabled? Did you cycle through the settings? My guess is that you have it on the fifth setting. That flash is sort of like the one that tells you the cutoff is disabled. Cycle though it and make sure your on the first flash.

Now let me ask you this question please. I have two of the 60A esc's from hobby wing. I read that the original fan (5V) combined with the esc can only work with a 2 cell lipo battery or 4-6 nimh battery pack. And anything over 6 cell nimh or 3 cell lipo battery can destroy the esc. How can you change the 5v fan to a 12v fan?

@flashgordon2392 it wont destroy esc but kill or overload fan to stop working then you get a hot esc. you can resolder fan to receiver or buy a 12v fan and solder to esc

stock nimh kept cutting off after 20 seconds of driving, needed to restart every 20 seconds, until i disabled the low voltage cutoff with this video! helped!
