thanks i went and bought a samsung touch to late to take it back i just needed to know if it could be fixedi spent $500 on my n80 went it first came out but thanks to all of u guys for the help
i need help with my nokia n80 i had it like 1 year already but the thing is when im trying to turn it on it wont turn on already i try to switch battery and even charge it but still it wont open hope you can help me with this tnxx..........
If the problom is in front camer, ear speaker, front switch's. lcd is not working or if working but not clear so change this ribbion..im sure it will solve tha problom.
This video seems to have a missing step. The slider is un-screwed from the phone backing then lifted off to reveal the flex strip end so it can be removed BUT on my phone there is an additional set of 2 screws underneath the keypad which need removed, the video does not show this step, it suggests the front can be lifted straight off the phone. BE CAREFUL you could snap the base of the keypad if you try to force it off. Keypad needs removed first to reveal the extra screws.
Yeah, I got to that point. I can't lift off my slider... and I can't find any screws 'behind the keypad'. How do I get behind the keypad? I'd appreciate the quick response from anyone as I now have my phone opened up.
You have to pry the rim of the keyboard off first, then remove the screws behind the keypad, then remove the slider. If you don't do this, you will break the slider.
yes P-view, you got it right, the keypad to be removed (so scrfews etc) pry it as you say. Tehn the extra screws are below, don't know why that was not on the original video
very helpful! but not complete.... thx a lot. grz Bill Holland
