What is the tuning of this song? And is there anyway I can get the tab for this? I would love to learn to play it. I am trying to work it out by ear but unfortunately I don't have the best ear to get everything perfect something always seems off every time I play it. If anyone could help that would be great! Can't find a tab anywhere.

@Keep0nrockin it's DADGAD. the opening/verse chords are 0-0-12-11-12-0; 0-0-12-10-12-0; 10-x-12-x-12-0; 9-x-12-x-12-0. The chorus chords are hard to hear, but it sounds like he's just doing octave notes with everything else open (that's what DADGAD is usually for, so you get that airy, open sounds, it's what Barton Hallow is played in too), like 5-0-5-0-0-0; 3-0-3-0-0-0; 0-5-0-7-0-0; 0-3-0-5-0-0 and the like. That's how I'm playing it now, and it sounds alright

i got to talk to both of them after a small show they played in Birmingham, AL on Feb 4th. My brother and I were blown away by that guitar and asked him about it. John Paul said he doesn't have a clue what kind of guitar it is. Its really old and has no markings on it at all. its amazing. The sound and the look. I want one. These two are my absolute favorite artists of all time. Ive kept tabs on them since the beginning a couple years ago.
