it was a very emotional song for paul. all of those years they had been together making a grand time of their life. now that he together with ringo as the only remaining beatles alive today, you kinda reflect on the songs that you have made and it brings back the emotion. your music will live on forever. thanks for music.

I personally feel very honoured to have heard it, and I am more than thankful that the Beatles came out and showed themselves to humanity and shared their precious gifts with the world. this song is dedicated to john lennon.. i read a long time ago in the news he got pretty sentimental when he was singing that song and later he said that song was in memory of his all time best friend.. john lennon
