@hamsterhelgrind i assuming they would have included tiny connections to ensure all the parts stayed in position during printing, like peices in a sprue, but they could be so fine cleaning wouldnt be necessary

"injet style"? Sorry I don't use such fancy terminology but if you do a little research you'll find that "inkjet style 3d printing" is just smart people talk for a process known as stereo lithography.
mk ultra go back to bed. Stereo lithography is a totally different process, involving toxic chemical baths and lazers. Perhaps it's time to study up on some of the "smart people talk"
@Dth091 Light Amplification by Stimulated Emissions of Radiation. I used to have a girlfriend that would rape me when I said it, she went nuts for brains. :) Oh and we can thank Gordon Gould for it, not Townes or Schawlow.
@oneirondreamer Replying to a two-year-old comment, but nevertheless I must say 'Perhaps it's time to study up on some of the "smart people talk"' is one of the better elitist insults I've come across in my time :3
That would be impossible to print in one piece. It would need the ability to make the initial bit of the cog float in thin air. More proof of that needed i'm afraid!!
OK.. I checked it out... It probably was printed in one go. When printed there's powder supporting the model. So they can print working parts no problem.

This mechanism was PRINTED using a stereo lithography printer. from design to reality using lasers and a suspension of plastic particles.

Maybe you should study up too.
LASER has an S not a Z.
It's an acronym, not a noun.
