I understand what you mean, but it is possible to make a game fun and interesting (and yes even full of action) without button mashing. Think of MGS4, I know it's not an RPG, but it was full of action, without button mashing. I know that was a bad example, considering that MGS4 was like a movie because it had so many cinematics, but that's a different reason than I'm trying to prove.

Ehh, either way, there are too many other great games to play and buy than this, I'll wait for God of War 3 on PS3 before I buy another hack and slasher.

I have to admit, the animations aren't good and the graphics aren't the best but I don't really mind, I'm not that much of a graphics whore.

But the game itself is not that bad, decent story and voice acting, the leveling system is original and actually makes sense in the context of the game. And last but not least, the combat is a lot better than the point-and-click we see in every Action RPG out there.

Well, lets face it. This game had the potential of being epic. I dont know exactly what went wrong, but i guess the budget was extremely low for starters. What a shame. Cause the last game i really enjoyed in this genre was might and magic.
