However, I personally think that with the execution of the whole story, you pushed it a little too far. Especially with that whole psychedelic feel going on, such as 8:34. And I just wasn't feeling the whole people in bee costumes feel, it felt childish and irritating. It also seems self-indulgent and is at the borderline of pretentiousness in my opinion.

It's an example of style over substance for me. But even the style kinda made the viewing experience harder to appreciate.

As a film student, I am personally offended. This is shit.
