I think the reason why people buy these cheap tablets is that they just don't have the money in this economy or anywaty to buy an ipad for $300+. Especially when the ipad will just be upgraded every year (ipad2, 3 etc). And if you drop the ipad you loose a ton of money. A cheap pad may be good for people on a tight budget.

@BuhnanaFone Actually the GT will not sell well just as the others did not. The price $399 is right there with the original iPad and the iPad2 is only $100 more. HP has taken a big chunk out of the non-Apple tablet demand with the $99 fire sale of the Touchpads, and they are making another batch of them to sell form $99 available in 4-6 weeks. It's not tat the Android tabs aren't good, they're excellent. NOBODY will catch Apple now because Apple created a market for the iPad, not tablet PCs.
