Hi Modmart! Keep uploading mate, your vids bring back so many happy memories for me. My nan use to get me a Mego figure evey week when i was a kid. I would love to have a chat with ya. keep the collection going mate!
Around 1974 in Australia, there was a commercial on television promoting this...I had Kirk and Spock first, then came Scotty and then McCoy and Klingon. The commercial featured only those figures mentioned and the play set and Uhura figure were never available here. The Star Trek cartoon was playing every afternoon here in 1976 and our neighbors were pissed because our car interfered with their TV transmission...like theirs did with ours...oh, the joys of being a lucky seventies child...:)
Mart, stuff looks great. The Enterprise playset I don't believe was released in the UK. Instead, they released the spin Transporter as a separate unit

Great things about this toy..
1. Hey it was starTrek
2. That vinyl toy smell. Grew up with that fond memory. The bridge,GI Joe, POTA Tree house, AJ
3. The great low tech transporter gimmick. Fantastic idea
4. Doubled as a carry case.
Wishes for what they should have done.
1. More view screen options
2. Maybe lights and sounds
3. An alien ship option. (MY bad guys had to time share the same ship) Sure could have bought two. Aliens should have had different color scheme.

@mego73 I can see why: Even when I was 6, I thought the rest of the bridge looked wrong.

Agree 100%! I certainly should have taken more care seating little Uhura! Shame on me. Hopefully the Enterprise isn't to draughty!!!!!!

Oops! Uhura's not sitting very lady like! :)
The display set does show the figures off nicely though.
