Sit upright. Don't lean like a tit unless its wet & only do so then if it makes a positive difference, although i always found the disorientation of leaning outwards to be more of a disadvantage over a race distance.

A well set up kart will go light on the inside wheel & should require no body repositioning to do so. Look on youtube for a top level european kart race, the drivers sit upright & some barely even tilt their heads. Take it from a race winner, i know!

It's what you should be doing on the exit of a corner for better traction. Mid corner, yeah you should lean forward to the outside, so your rear inside cocks up (basically like a diff).
