  • great video mate 5 stars and fav

  • thank you very much

  • excellent stuff there! the only preserved lines I've been are WSR, The Kingswear one and One up Aviemore in Scotland. I must make more of an effort to visit the others around here like the severn valley railway, watercress line and the one up Cheltenham. 5* and fav'd

  • Thank you. I can recommend the SVR and GWSR but never been to the watercress. The DFR is another good line (though I would say that being a member! lol)

  • DFR? wheres that? I may go to the diesel gala at GWSR next week, would u recommend it?

  • Dean Forest Railway, Lydney, Gloucestershire, 2 stops after/before Cheltenham - depends which way your coming from lol. Yeah GWSR is a good line but never seen a diesel loco run there so don't know what diesel galas are like but I've always wanted to go to one there.

  • @JBTEvans Watercress Line is a brilliant line!! that line is mine local line!! we got 92212, 850 Lord Nelson, 34007 Wadebridge, 30075 & many more, check it out best on gala days next steam event 10-12 September 2010

  • not from what ive heard, think I will miss that gala.

  • @JBTEvans they got 2 fresh engines straight from overhaul comming back to the event hopefully!! Black 5 45379 & U class 31806, they quite regular do pullmans, freight trains, locals, and services ever 30 mins over the whole line, and either hourly or bi-hourly locals!! you should check it out, big locos on 6 coaches taking 1in100, 1in80 & 1in60 banks, plus mega power from 92212!!

  • The Manor sounded great but then I would say that. Who's going to the West Somerset gala? I'm going for the first weekend but they need a standard 4 2-6-0/4-6-0 and a standard 5.

  • Yeah Manors are brilliant, they wanted a standard 4 tender and 5 but none are servicable/available, pitty 73129 needed retyring that would of gone!

  • Thank you!

  • Very nice Joshua; 5*

  • Thank you very much!

  • Some nice shots there. I like the panned shot of 46443 & 61994 in the gathering dusk.

  • Thank you, I like them too, I got everything I wanted with that shot of 61994.

  • Excellant video mate, i did enjoy your shots from Victoria Bridge, i also loved your manor shot was very good. The shots taken from foley park are fantastic aswell. 5 stars mate brilliant video also thanks for a the great day also!

  • From all the SVR gala's I have been to and seen on Youtube This Has to be the best! Plenty of engines and plenty of GWR steam just what a GWR gala needs! 5* from Me. Great amount of film is such great quallity!

  • Yes this was the best gala I have been to ever, not just at the SVR. I was so tempted to go the next day lol

  • Another superb video Josh, great to see so many changes on the line since my last visit...5* Bob

  • Thanks Bob, glad you enjoyed it.

  • 5*S great video i love the footage

  • Thank you mate

  • Great video mate. 5*. Our line is meant to have 5542 for the summer, alongside the B1 "Mayflower" so its shame theres no station nearby as it would be a good time to visit! lol. Cheers mate.

  • Thanks Sam, yeah I see on 5542s website that she is going to the Battlefield.
