Way way back (now 20 years ago damn time flies), I got my 125cc Minsk stuck in mud half way to the wheels. We had to pull it out with a rope. Hah, that was fun. Those were really nice bikes. Crappy Belarus engineering but really solid otherwise. Electrically everything had failed but it still ran.
Ahahaha! A wise man learns from his mistakes. A wiser man learns from somebody else's. I know know never to take my gixxer off road after some rain...
@zeocen Well it went over the dirt and sand pretty good not all that scary until I hit the mud. When I got stuck both the front and rear tire sunk so far down into the mud that I got off the bike and it was standing on its own. It is funny now but I was pissed when it happened. Had to use my brother-in-laws ATV and ropes to pull it out
LOL that was crazy haha! I once got my Hornets footpeg stuck into a wooden gate while the bike was leant over at an angle, the back tyre was also down a large step and it was a pain in the ass simply trying to hold it in that position, luckily a guy helped me out then as well haha, i was completely exhausted!
Once a couple of years ago me and my adventurous buddies found a "road" which had a sign saying 'Unsuitable for motor vehicles", so naturally of course we all went down it. We were on a CBF500, a Bandit 600 and an SV650s and it was the steepest, most gravelly, potholed and dirty track I've seen but it was the most fun half hour I've ever had on a road bike! :D
I once parked at the top of a friends steep gravel driveway in fear i wouldn't make it only to get stuck in the mudd on my way out. now i just go for the gravel; it atleast has some traction.
