Im considering getting my ear pieced but im really worried about getting a keloid, i get hypertrophic scars which are less raised and have no idea what to do...please answer.
I had a raised keloid the size of a quarter on my neck. I was advised to use Cica Care silicone sheets on it for a period of 6 months to 1 year. After 6 months the keloid was completely flat. Instead of looking very red and sorelike in appearance, it actually changed color so it was slightly whiter than my regular skin. I went back to see the dermatologist and he was amazed that it virtually disappeared. That was over two years ago and it has not come back. I am thrilled with the results.
hey sorry for the delay but i did get the tattoo finally and friday was the third week since i got it done so its fully healed and no problems i hope to have another video up by the end of the week
1st step: watch your diet!! no garlic(strict), no sugar(strict) like soda, no seafood except fish, no red meat, drink alot of water.
2nd step: buy Hei Ba Gao and Keloid snake cream ( thejamushop ), apply alternate days (depends on your scars - mine I apply for a year because it's 10 years old).
3rd step: goto a dermatologist to get steroid injection after applying the chinese medicine for year!
4th step: apply only keloid snake cream after injection.
@slip0326 laser made mines worst ;0.my keloid was big so it was under the skin too.the laser couldnt take off keloid from under skin.either way laser isnt good because it leaves an open wound.
you are beautiful .. i hope you are oke with the keloids .. i have it to by my ear .. they said from a piercing.. i have a tattoo also but there i have nothing and i hope it stays like this the keloid by my ear grows and its very terrilbe im really a shamed of it ,, i was today on the hospital and they gave my a injection .. i hope it dont grow more.. but about the tattoos i hope i get more i really love tattoos.. :(
hey man yes i am 100 percent white, german/irish and no clue how i got keloids had them probably since i was about 13 i think it started from acne also i played football so i dont know if the shoulder pads and impacts had anything to do with it
@marshallcincinnati87: Thanks for uploading this video. Everyone gets keloid. I've been trying to fix my keloids for 10 years. They're so itchy and ugly. Are there any new medical treatments to fix these keloids?
@marshallcincinnati87 i think it is from acne. i heard that people can get keloids from acne.i got two keloids from chicken pox.im using undiluted tea tree oil on the smaller one and it works.
I know what you mean about there not being any documentation on tattooing over keloids. I wound up skipping the spot test, even though i highly recommend it. Feel free to go to my channel, and check out how i documented my keloid tattooing endeavors. Good luck!

hey man. just curious. i thought keloid only happened to asian, black, south pacific. are you 100% white? how did you get your keloid?

@enkii82 every race gets it.some doctors dont know so they tell patients that only darkskin or black ple get it which isnt true.
