This is just the governments way to suck more money out of you. I WONT be paying for plastics bags EVER. If I dont wish to pay then I ask staff to take my food to my car as I cannot carry it myself! Looks like the stores will have to employ xtra staff to cater for those who will NOT buy bags. Thats good for the economy as retailers will then have to employ more people to help carry our goods!

Don't forget that it takes energy to both construct and wash these reusable bags. It's not like these companies are running off with huge profits due to these little taxes but you do make a great point about the poor logic behind the push for reusable bags.

Ineed plastic bags for garbage day, lunches, dog crap, wrapping shoes in winter, carrying items.
So are all bags banned? NO!!!!!
