ok, lets get some things straight:

1. THEY did create their own Engine, its called Spark engine, and is completely done by scratch and has no connections to other engines.

this has been confirmed for ages.

this is a real game, a real standalone game worth your money, NOT a mod, not a copy pasted generic game.

its in the early beta right now, and if you want to support their effort, preorder and give them 100% of your money directly.

Even if they are taking there time , I'm glad , I would rather they took there time to perfect it then just release it early or rush it and it turns out bad.

I've been thinking of preordering this game for long awhile now, however I haven't had the money. I do now and am about to; however, is there a Sniper rifle by any chance?

I love long-ranged fights.

Nope. Not really. Most of the guns are pretty accurate, but the space for long range fighting is generally non-existent. It's a lot more close quarters, and even long spaces tend to twist enough to provide decent cover most of the time.
