@PatTheGray I believe there's a big difference. Stalin wasn't just a "brand". People weren't able to choose not to follow him, they were forced to follow the regime, when Stalin toke over the Country he dismantled the organizations that were against him. People did choose communism, but did so with Lenin as they're leader. Sometimes it's not about ideology, it's about the environment where you are borne, and the fact that you know nothing else about the world outside.

Just as an American soldier would do for it's country (beliefs), and the people who the Americans call terrorists, most of them elders, women and children, are more afraid of America than the other way around. People from America would understand that if they lived in a Muslim Country.
@PatTheGray America, that was once known as the land of the free, home of the brave, has now become to inspire fear in other countries. In a few years, the situation can be reversed. We can still see America as the Terrorist Country. By the way, Dr. West is one of my hero's too :)
