My Corgi Lexi Is also afraid of the hair dryer, her own farts, our other dog's farts, Cameras, mycell phone, the water hose, etc. Its kinda funny cause whenever i take my cell phone out she quickly walks away to hide. Too cute. :)

My Corgi Ein, freaks out when you blast an air pump. He barks and tries to grab the streams of air with his mouth.

Just a theory, but maybe the sound of the steam escaping might be in the ultrasonic range, so only they can hear it??
