It's still Friday but Jesus is in the process of coming right now. It could be today. I pray for those who still are outside Christ, that they come to know Him as their Savior before Sunday comes.

The Holy Spirit gave me some scripture this morning. I was in my backyard singing to the Lord and then sat down and enjoyed the spring wind... I then heard the Holy Spirit say within my soul... "Acknowledge me in ALL your ways and I will direct your path" God is so Holy.
It was a 3 day process back then the sabbeth was Saturday meaning you couldn't do any work that day. They crucified Jesus on Friday, buried him Friday evening. On Sunday (the day after the sabbeth) Both Marys went to the tomb to find that the stone had been rolled back and Jesus was no longer in there. That's why we celebrate on Sunday, it's the day we see that Jesus has risen. You can find this in all the gospels. Read Mark 15:42-47 and Mark 16: 1-11
really, you argue about what day of the week it was.....eternity it at stake, and you are worried about time?....which has no beginning or end in eternity.....listen to the message and forget about trivial things....Jesus is coming, are you ready?

Nowhere in the New Testament does it say the resurrection occurred Sunday morning, so people wrongfully ASSUME that when they found the tomb empty the resurrection must have happened RIGHT BEFORE that. Jesus spoke in Matthew 12:39,40 so that anyone who cares what the truth is and reads the Bible would be able to figure out that God's fourth Commandment of resting from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday is STILL in effect, and God turns his back on Sunday observance, as one of MAN'S traditions.
The comma in Mark 16:9 was put into the wrong place when it was translated into English. The comma should have been put at the end of the word "risen", not after the word "week". When it is taken from after "week" and put after the word "risen" it reads correctly. The reason Jesus said the only sign that would be given to an "evil and adulterous generation" is that he would be in the tomb for three days and three nights is to give people NO reason to observe Sunday as a special day.
So he was in the tomb Wednesday night, Thursday night, and Friday night; all day Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and the resurrection occurred at sunset Saturday. When they found the tomb empty Sunday morning he had already been gone about 10 hours. Any church that teaches a Friday crucifixion/Sunday morning resurrection is calling Jesus a false prophet, saying his "three days and three nights" did not come true.
Jesus said the only sign that would be given to an "evil and adulterous generation" would be that he would be in the "heart of the Earth" for three days and three nights (Matthew 12:39 and 40). He was crucified Wednesday, not Friday, and the next day was a YEARLY Sabbath, Thursday (John 19:31), NOT the weekly Sabbath of Saturday.
