  • great stuff

    this is future

  • fail!

  • @speedy02 ROFLMGDFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! your gasoline Engine powered one wouldn't even make it a quarter of the way

  • @14omega28ok Actually My Kingquad is snorkeled and i have been in deeper water with no problem.

  • @speedy02 Well thats true. But who the fuck drives their ATV's in the lake? I thought thats what boats were for lol

  • @14omega28ok I didn't see it leave the water on it's own power. Driving in and getting stuck isn't very inspiring.

  • @FarleyCharlesUlysses A gasoline Engine ATV wouldn't have done any better....

  • why is it making a clacking noise? is that in the drivetrain? awesome stuff.... when the motor dies in my landrover swb im gonna convert it to electric..... will be pretty expensive getting the cells here in nz tho

  • @toadecks Hello, The noise was an old chain that has since been replaced . This unit is in constant use and has not let us down .Thank you for watching and please check us out at alseasonsev on the web .

  • @toadecks An example we can make is to look up the torque specs of your typical 300 HP @ 3,571 RPM 3-phase AC induction motor. It's peak torque occurs at what is known as breakdown torque which is at 3,464 RPM and its value is 1,208 ft*lbs. The Ford Power Stroke is 400 HP at 2,800 RPM, but only manages a terrible 800 ft*lbs. Keep in mind the electric motor torque curve is LOAD TORQUE not a rev curve. Also notice that under more load the electric motor is also gaining HP which something a...

  • How did you make this set up? I have a few old dirt bike and ATV frames that could make great donor bikes to a project like this.

  • @stevensj13 Hello , What are you waiting for . Thanks for watching .

  • ATV Submarine ! Like it !! But the e - KX80 is much better...want to see it in action : )

  • @Kleinstadtamoebe Thank you we will work hard to provide another video of the kx soon . Thanks for watching .

  • how much

  • Needs more "umph".

  • @crusher44x How much more "umph" do you need .

  • @dappman

Like more torque and power. It is an AWESOME concept and the first that I have seen, but I am a mudder, and I like being able to spin 29.5 inch tires in mud.

I know not every stock ATV can spin large tires by itself, as they need modifications. This one seemed to be bogging down at some points, but I figure it is hard to modify/upgrade an electric motor.

  • @crusher44x Hello, This unit operates at that speed in low range and . It is not bogged down , just slow . The upgrades for these systems are on hand but we choose to keep the efficiency high and the speed low .Thank you for watching .

  • @crusher44x dude the difference between eletric and petrol is that a petrol engine has to be rev'd up to 4000 odd rpm to achieve its maximum torque, an equivolent electric engine puts out the same torque, regardless of RPM ... so you can be crawling at 500 RPM and achieve the same torque as a combustion engine doing 3500rpm !

  • @toadecks It has nothing to do with this at all. It is the fact that the torque is FAR greater than a gasoline engine that makes electric so powerful. It does not matter if the gas engine gets up to the RPM that is its max torque because it will still lose since the torque it produces will be less than electric.

  • @EETechs thats not entirely true, comparing apples and oranges maybe.... I am looking at doing a conversion on my 1972 series landrover its just a matter of finding a good enough motor, within my price range... i can garauntee you no current generation electric engine will ever haul ass like a 6 cylinder petrol engine @ 4,000 revs :)

  • @toadecks I was talking about torque. I blame this "same torque at any RPM" on Tesla motors car company. I will have to make a video to explain what that torque curve actually means. But what I said about the torque being far greater than a ICE is true. No ICE is going to come close to the torque of electric. If you compare any ICE that produces say 100 HP at 3600 RPM against an electric at the same then you will see that at their peak torques, the electric will have far more torque. cont..

  • @toadecks ICE cannot increase their torque and HP as more load is applied. BTW, the Tesla's torque curve is a rev torque curve that they derived by taking a family of load torque curves and putting them all together which makes it into rev torque curve. I have proven that electric is more powerful with a youtube video that is entitled: "Gas vs. Electric torque battle".

  • @EETechs The motor specs are here w w w reliance c o m/ pdf/ pdf/ aced/ W06803-A-A001 pdf. You will have to fix this. I had to butcher it so youtube would not censor it.

  • @crusher44x It is not hard to upgrade electric. All he has to do is turn up the current. Electric motor torque is derived from the current it can pull. Or you can go to a larger motor which will produce more torque too or both which would make for an insanely powerful ATV that would destroy the drive train if the tires ever got locked up. I rather have a working drive train so I do not get stranded out somewhere far from help.

  • wow it didn't get messed up at all and was that the 1st try

  • @amillzharlembaby Hello, we tested this unit last year and made changes for this year . This is our first test this year and all still works well . Thank you

  • very cool and exciting. you might need a better latch for your seat.

  • @JoyceDiehl Hello, The seat will be managed prior to the next water operation , And yes it is very different to move around in water that deep for 30-35 minutes and still have an operable unit afterwards . Thank you for your comment .

  • lol Awesome :D

  • @Ericspasstime Thank you.

  • That is awesome!

  • Very Impressive! Any details on how you concealed all the electrics?

  • @The00Snake Thank you for watching . No details will be given for this unit . Thanks again .

  • That's cool dappman. What does it take to make them submersable like that?

  • @mraarongail Thank you for the comments . Please appreciate our trade secrets. Thank you

  • @cobalt120 Thank you
