At first I've never really cared about Mike Pollock as Eggman but his voice started to really grow on me when Sonic Unleashed came out and then he gave the best performance as Eggman in Colors and Generations. Now I really like him. =D

In my opinion, it is talent like Mr Green and Mr Pollock that helped keep the series afloat during such bad times. No matter what material they are given both seem to make it shine and give even the most arbitrary lines some lustre.

I know that a lot of people say that "Sonic doesn't need a story", but then we would probably lose a large chunk of the fun and charming dialogue. If there's one thing the classics are missing it's probably people like Mr Pollock; he helps define Robotnik for me.
