  • OMG, i just watched this earlier today and have since bought the most gorgeous dress from the ebay site you mentioned bombshell vintage! Then i started to watch your hairstyle videos, goodness gracious you are brilliant i cant believe i havent found you before now! your lovely! XXX

  • Thanks I found some interesting stuff. No era can beat the 50s style.

  • Lisa, I'm a 40DD and pant size 18 I can't find any retro lingerie in my size. Do you have any suggestions for those of us who are, shall we say, more voluptuous?

  • @eristellneko I gotta say, I am 5 feet 5 inches tall, 34G and a pant size US 10 (UK size 14) and it's because I've let myself go a bit over the last year or so. I'm tired of never feeling good looking in the mirror and having to hunt round for bigger - and often uglier - clothes, so I'm dealing with it the right way. It sucks, I know, but really don't you think it would be better to just go on a sensible diet, take more exercise and lose the weight?

  • You forgot Goodwill..... I got unknown vintage brands there. You cannot beat that.

  • No, I mentioned vintage shopping is the best bet. I didnt mention any vintage store by name because this video was aimed towards those people that don't have a worthy Goodwill or Vintage shopping option available to them.

  • @LisaFreemontStreet Random comment, but I found a vintage 1960s purse at Goodwill that i didn't even know was vintage!

  • I so book marked the kids site. Thank you so much for sharing your favorite sites. It will help with what I wanna do this next year. Making so retro clothes here at home for me and my daughter. You rock as always

  • If anyone's ever in the Richmond, Va area there's a neat little vintage shop called ByGones right beside the Byrd Theatre.

Wondering what song was the last one? Thanks!!!

  • I love the video gave me ideas on how to dress up more =) thank you!

  • Hi! I love your channel. I really liked the idea of the cuffed jeans and heels--what kind of top would you wear with that?

I really want to try--I've got some neat t-strap heels that I'd love to show off! :)

  • A halter top, a wife beater, bra top cami, peasant style off the shoulder blouse, tailored button up, empire waist surplice collared top...the possibilities are endless! A fitted off the shoulder top w/ a waist cinching belt looks very 'Faster Pussycat'...:)

  • Thanks for the help! (Noticed you quoted the dreamy Frank Sinatra, THUMBS UP!!!)

  • Best song ever...thanx for letting us know where to find vintage shoes...they are my life!!! XoXo

I actually live in the country as well... so I too, have to take advantage of the internet and whatnot :)

  • Thanks for your tips, i used to love some Vintage shops in Kings Cross, London, I dreamed of those Prom dresses... I got a tailoress to sew one to me, I have to show you the pics.

. I like the 16 tons version in this video. Is it from a Spanish singer?

  • It is the 1955 Tennessee Ernie Ford version...

  • Thanks, I thought it was the Jose Guardiola version, its sounds just like him.
