  • Another reason to be scare of the dentist D:

  • tim burton is not getting the credit he deserves, HE IS THE BEST ARTIST AND FILM MAKER WHO HAS EVER ROAMED THE EARTH!!

  • UHM NO, at 0:41, that freaking sound scared the fudge out of me. <3 Tim Burton, though ;D

  • what

  • I love Tim Burton's style. His films are unique.

  • so what did he do to her??????

  • The Audio kicking in scared the shit out of me.

  • Hahaha, and Disney thought Burton was too dark...

  • <3<3<3<3<3

  • Haha. I think it's funny.

  • That was beautifully creepy.

  • Thank you for uploading so many of Tim Burton's wonderful creations. Now if you have the Japanese Hansel and Gretel I would love you forever ^_^

  • Megamind?

  • Did he make her a tranny?

  • pure brilliance

  • Where's the sound for half the video

  • @ctjstuges this film was never finished. These are just sketches of some of the story that Tim Burton created. The sections without sound didn't have a recording session for I'd assume

  • im sorry to spoil people's day but i am sure tim burton wil be able to use 3d cgi technology. All animators who are worth their salt can do a bit of everything!

  • was this made with tonnes of drawings?

  • @BearTubz like all cartoon yes.

  • what was fuckign creppy

    love it ^^

  • @MrYayTv

If your saying that Tim burton didn't direct or make this film your wrong because he made this film in collegde at the California Insitute of the Arts! THis is the film that ot Tim to work at Walt Disney Studios!!!!!

  • @randomninjapirate1 No they're talking about the film '9' :)

  • no sound?

  • Tim Burton could take any idiotic concept and immediately turn it into a creepy eerie horrifying masterpiece.

  • @davedavedaveannoy1

Conversely, he can take any horrifying masterpiece and turn it into an idiotic concept.

  • She is a trannie

  • so...my laptop breaks all the time so I have to ask....no sound?

  • okay....

  • genial!

  • cool

  • I wish I had a laugh like that.

  • I think I know what this is. This must be his animated cartoon from CalArts. He was John Lasseter's (Toy Story) classmate. He must have made this in CalArts at his time at Disney.

  • @cesarjimenezanimator he made this while he was student in CalArts before he got to disney. i understand he got his job at disney with this short

  • @belkys13 I knew it!

  • I can't believe I met the guy who made this film.

  • @Burtonnut

    You met Lou Diamond Phillips!?!

  • No Tim Burton

  • @Burtonnut

Upon hearing this, my excitement level dropped -10 fold.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to watch 1988's "Dakota" starring Lou Diamond Phillips.

  • 1:19 "FAMILY DENTIST"!?

  • he laughs like a retart XD

  • Tim Burton really gets how it feels like to go to a dentist ;)

  • And this is why I hate the dentist. They'll do this to you.

  • OMG!!!!! I AM NEVER GOING TO THE DENTIST AGAIN!!!!

  • awww so cute.

  • Tomorrow im going to the dentist to extract a wisdom tooth. ._. WHY THE HELL AM I WATCHIN THIS VID??! çAç

  • @voodoogirl89 so how did the operation go?

  • @TheXeeman It didn't hurt. Luckily, the root wasn't fully shaped: it went away with no pain! :D This vid brought me good luck! xD

  • Creepy...

  • Tim Burton is NOT nuts or crazy.. he is just ingeniously eccentric !!

" a Wonderful imagination is birth of all creation"

  • wow, i think he should go back and complete this

  • this short is the reason Burton got a job at Disney

  • My freind found someone much more nuts than tim burton.

  • @spidey8vader He's Not Nuts¬¬

  • @ShavingMyEyesOut

    it's a joke.

but come on, he does make some really wierd films.

  • @spidey8vader like what?

  • @mrsmichasnape

well a nightmare before chritmas is definetly a bit wierd.

    Batman was kinda freaky.

    beetle juice and scissors hands...

Their not bad films. There great, I mean they where really well thought out, but they are still a bit well....diffrent.

thats what makes them so great.

i guess I shouldn't have said wierd. Diffrent fits it better.

  • this really reminds me of gerald scarfe and ralph steadman

  • Early, unfinished talent. The facial expressions are perfect.

  • why does everybody like this so much? just cuz it sais tim burton? it has no storyline or anything that just even makes sence, so the dentist is crazy and (probably) does experimantel stuff with people so what? there's more story's like that not like burton was the guy who invented it,,

  • @Mikeymike3892

This would make a lot more sense if it were complete. The full thing is really quite funny. This is a copy that has been badly cut up.

  • @Mikeymike3892 because tim burton is a fucking genius.

  • calarts?

  • ...Gross...

  • thatsss so cute

  • The first project he ever did.

  • @linkfan160 actually, this is the first he made while at cal arts as a kid he made the island of doctor agor and a Houdini movie not to be rude or anything, just saying

no, im not obsessed just have a film project on him

  • is this Tim Burton's film made at CalArts ? It's very nice.

I heard Tim burton went to CalArts with Great John Lasseter and Brad Brid.

  • Nifty!!!!<3

  • Amazing...Dr "Payne"....gotta love the tim Burton are its most original and purist...

  • There's no sound because it's an EARLY FILM IN PROGRESS. It was like a practice, or an experiment.

  • Why there ´s no sound the first 47 sek and than again and again???

  • no sound until 42 seconds for me.

  • Brillient. Absolutly awesome.

  • any one else have no sound with this?

  • 1:03 is my favorite part XDDDD

  • Is that Vincent Price's voice?

  • Hey has anybody found a video of Tim Burton's early (i think it was a student film) Hansel and Gretal? I saw it once, but i can't seem to find it anywhere now.

  • It's on here. search it.

  • i want to see this finished!

  • @jinxiejae

    You really don't...it sucks.

  • @jinxiejae it is finished ^ ^

  • @jinxiejae same

  • 1:03

  • omg that is really scary! you know, compared to other cartoons haha but there's no mistake, it got Tim's firm all over it :P

  • why was it quiet in some parts?

  • So fluid! His talent was undeniable even then

  • irony style

  • a perfect combination of goth and comedy!

  • wow

  • I love his work!

  • woow, that was very very very weird but that's why Burton's excellent...no matter how weird it is his imagination, he always catches you

  • that was weird but very good, i love tim and his work! he is a great artist

  • Man that was awesome!xD

I wonder how his first flim looked when he was around my age...Eh.

    But this is really cool!

  • Nice. All hand-drawn, too.

  • Wow! A traditional handdrawn animation from Burton. He could do everthing! CGI, live action, stop motion...

    It's amazing!!!!

  • he cant do CG. if your thinking of 9, that had nothing to do with burton other than his name as the producer. he didnt come up with the idea, nor did he directed it

  • Sure, I know. I mean the upcoming "Alice in Wonderland": The Tweedles are Motion Performance Capture, Cheshire Cat and White Rabbit CGI, and the Caterpillar will be Stop Motion.

  • @MrYayTv

agree it was Shane acker who created 9

  • @MrYayTv Yeah he also didnt do coraline or the nightmare befor christmas...Alot of people think he did direct those though

  • @BlackFlameVI exactly, with nightmare its because its called "tim burton's" nightmare before christmas. when it was actualy directed by henry selick. and henry also directed coraline.... however tim burton didnt even touch that movie at all

  • Comment removed

  • @thehappysock @thehappysock what is with all this tim burton hate? The Nightmare Before Christmas was based on a poem that Tim Burton WROTE. It was HIS idea that came from HIS brain. Directors don't always write their own screen plays, and yet they get all the credit. Burton wrote the basic idea of Nightmare and Selick directed.

  • @cablesskid why do directors get all the credit? Do know how hard it us to direct a film? all writers do is sit behind a desk and think. Directors to all the work to mapp out how the scene goes. You understand that the poem burton wrote was only two pags. Do you honestly think this movie was two minutes long? no. There was MUCH more original stuff to fill an hour and a half of a movie. do some research before you speak nonsense

  • @MrYayTv And Mars Attacks?

  • Ah--I see ...you're 85, either goes one way or the other--sweet and kind, or hateful and hating everything with the slightest bit of imagination---and if you're younger you're just a jerk who looks up everything Burton in your mom's basement and then criticizes it...which one....?

  • likewise. ^_^

  • i dont get it but its still cool

  • coool XD ÅÄÖ

  • Waaah amazing <3

  • Early sign of "Vincent" love it!

  • Aww he was only 13 , what talent ^_^

  • He must have gotton a hold on drawing animation right away. I've tried when I was 12 but I failed. :( *Gasp* I could never do all of that, those are frame by frame drawings that take days to draw.

  • You tried animation? Cool : )

I guess from knowing that "frame fact" we found out that Tim is a very "VERY" patient man(lol)

  • He wasn't 13 but 21. He was 13 when he made "The Island of Doctor Agor"

  • Oh I was saying that because of how young he started doing little films(lol)

  • He is absolutely amazing! I love all of his films! And the Stalk of the Celery moster is awesome too! I love him!

  • This is awesome! X3

*cackle cackle* I feel the same way about dentists... XD

  • Great work!

  • The animation is great

  • tim burton is great

  • Could the sound not be retrieved for the entire film?

  • great to see this masterpiece!!!

  • porque no se escucho todo el tiempo?

  • Cool

  • That's AMAZING!!!!!

  • haha thats awesome
