def lipped! check out 2:00-2:05. her voice comes in before her mic is up to her face...honestly im pretty sure most of the concert is lipped...there's moments like that in the make it happen one and also consider the fact that this was the show where they taped the hero and without you videos. honestly tho, i dont really care if its lipped...its still her voice. she deserved a break!

@gogetta025 lol actually when they release concerts on video they have to dubb the concert due to the audience overpowering the singer on stage, so they dubb her voice to make it sound nice and clear! but the concert itself was in fact live!

it's called dubbing, not lipping,... lipping is when you pretend you're singing the song live while the backtrack plays,... Originally, Mariah did this performance live, but was dubbed (replaced with another audio) later on.

no its not lipsync this was concert nbc thanksgiving special it aired 1993 to promote the musicbox album all live

this is not lip synched. this is a live performance, dubbed for DVD(VHS/CD) release to remove unwanted noise. I can acknowledge that mariah today lips but none of these live performances pre 1996 was lipped. even her TOTP performance wasn't lipped and most (if not all) artists usually lip on that show.
