He says what he believes is Right and Constitutional, He votes that way, but he knows that if elected there must be consensus to change laws and the direction of our Gov. Not sure who you candidate is, so I can only guess you are around to knock Dr. Paul. My age and experience as a business owner and employer for many years and the fact that I am mostly retired now, allow me the time to research many subjects and educate myself. Look at the Laws being passed by both Dems and Reps, Look at Dr Pauls Record, the choice is clear. I would like to debate the issues and THEN the candidates. War. Economics. Healthcare.... your turn.

The Constitution is in affect to protect our rights and provide a millitary. The Federal Gov is not responsible for violent crime, thats the states responsability. The more difficult the matter, the more local it needs to be delt with. Roe VS. Wade allows for abortion up to one second before birth. Are we Alive one second before birth?

actually, he said abortion is a "violent act" akin to murder and then says the President has no authority to enforce laws against this, so we should handle it at the local level. This is just one example of him asserting her personal views, i.e. making absolute moral judgments, and then twisting it into a state's rights issue.

I heard the interview on a nation radio show of which Himtngal speaks. Ron Paul was asked about voting for Section 245(i) amnesty for ilelgal aliens. He did not remember voting for Section 245(i). He seemed not to know what it was. The talk show host many callers to the show knew what it was, but Ron Paul didn't.

I'm pretty liberal on some things, but I really like this guy. We need someone to protect the constitution and lead with common sense for a change. I support domestic social programs, but I don't think our taxes should be spent on an ever-expanding military, ill-conceived wars, and corporate welfare. Ron Paul, along with Kucinich, are about the only honest candidates out there.

I believe the most money I ever paid in federal income tax for a year was around 13,000$. For all the broken bones, flu's, etc I feel confident I've spent less than 3000$ in medical expenses in my life. Point is, that's a lot of my money being given to corporations in subsidy, to bombs to blow up innocents, etc. that isn't there for me to help myself and my friends.. and it's definitely something I wouldn't CHOSE to spend my earnings on.
