  • thats a damn nice wasr,i like the wood on it

  • i can honestly say this brake works..really kills the muzzle flash and climb. It just looks damn good too. watch my bumpfire video and you can see the difference without it..

  • "the GP wasr 10/63 is made of military grade parts selected from the cugir factory/parts that were on previous Romanian military issue rifles were issued to there troops. the original wasr 10 was just second hand parts that were rejected from the factory not because they were bad parts but because the parts were not suitable for full automatic fire, they were only suitable tolerance for semi auto. but again just wanted to specify. "

  • that flas hider does a pretty good job :P

  • thanks

  • where'd you get the muzzle brake/compensator? that's sick, my WASR-10 moves a lot more than that when fired

  • at a gunshow in Ohio. Kvar should have some more

  • I forgot to mention stay away from tapco brakes they don't work as well as the real ones, in fact theirs is more of a paper weight really

  • how much did you get it for?

  • from dunhams for 350

  • What kind of groupings did you get?

  • I don't remember I was trying out the new muzzle brake. Before I did @ 100 yards I got about 6-8" groups I don't know what it does now. It should be better as there's less recoil and muzzle climb with the new brake. My 74 clone will get in 1-2" groups @100yards

  • Yeah I've hear AK-74s are pretty accurate.

  • how does that brake fit on yours??, my wasr-10 doesnt have a threaded barrel and i wanna put a brake like yours on mine

  • It came with a threaded barrel. This brake needed an adapter to go from 14x1 lh to 24x1.5 rh. Offen they come with a barrel nut on the end that just has a dot of silver sodder. Remove the Sodder and you'd be able to put a brake on as long as you meet the parts number to do so.

  • What did you use to remove the solder?

  • a dremel and a fine metal saw

  • Did you have to re-solder it once you installed the muzzle brake?

I got a friend who claims that the 74-style brakes don't actually work on a 47 system. I guess he's wrong?

What make/model is the brake? I'm interested in getting one.

  • no since it had the muzzle brake retainer pin. Its a sprung pin that holds the brake in place so it doesn't loosen up.

Yeah, he's wrong. As long as the brake is chambered for the caliber its shooting. i.e. stay away from tapco's muzzle brake thats junk.

As I said do not buy Tapco it sucks. This brake is Bulgarian. K-var corp has some good ones.
