I guess Elton John, Willie Nelson, Keith Richards , Bono and other famous musicians know less about music than you do. All of these people have either played with him or recorded his songs. Elton John said he was the single person that inspired him to get back to recording music. If you don't like the music, fine. Don't criticize people's talent based on musical taste because you come off looking stupid. Ryan is world famous and banging Mandy Moore, hows the podcast treating you??

@JohnnyMoeSausage Didn't Willie Nelson also record with Kid Rock? I don't think even a Ryan Adams fan would go so far as to argue on behalf of Kid Rock. Bono did that song with Wyclef, I suppose that makes Wyclef great too. Scharpling did one of these for Sgt. Peppers too. I love that album, and I thought his review was fucking hilarious.
@Fayebee27 He was head writer and co-executive producer of monk for the duration of the series, and he doesn't get paid for his dj work, so I don't think he's sweating over getting a "real job", and I doubt he'd claim that his work on the show is real work. Also he's been a very successful music critic for decades, so he clearly knows what he's talking about, even if you disagree with his opinion.
