i just had one in my yard a few minutes ago very large probably about a few inches taller than this one, we couldnt get a picture or video of it though. my neighbor has 4 outdoor cats do you think they will be harmed? (ps this is the first time my father has seen any on our property in over 40 years)
I live in Smyrna and they are getting worse and worse. One of my neighbors cats got eaten. Another neighbors puppy got chased by one. One killed and ran off with a rabbit about fifteen feet in front of me while I was walking our littlest dog (a shih tzu). My wife called the animal control and she was told to just run inside and tell your kids to do the same. They also said there is nothing you or they can do about it.
Killing seems to be the only solution? God gave us brains above all other creatures and we are not smart enough to figure out a solution to keep them away other then guns?
Well I have a few Ideas get a large dog like a German Shepherd or Lab and have them guard the coyotes will not return. That way both parties are happy. play recording of wolves or bears. Play recording of other coyotes. that helps. See! Three solutions that don't require a dead coyotes.
@DJ118USMC even if you have shot one your talking about killing me mother fucker you dont know the first thing there is to know about pulling the trigger and takeing a human life
Ha ha I always find it funny that people always say "it's your fault" or "You made me do it!" when they are the ones who preformed the action. It will be your fault not mine.
We have a ton of them in Rome. I'm scared of them. They make a racket at night. A lot of people think they are dogs and don't realize they are coyotes. Several got in my yard the other night trying to get my neighbors cat who had run here to escape them. They are bold - they don't seem at all shy like they say they are.

@DJ118USMC price of a purebred German Sheppard -500-1200
price of a speaker loud enough- 80-160
price of one .223 bullet - .50cent
seams the bullet is a better deal plus i get to kill a coyote without doing all the work for a regular hunt
man i wish they where in my yard like that
