I use it for rx for rtty and psk31.

The result is a little bit better sensitivity in receiving and most importand, the agc does not pull a weak station

down in the noise caused by a strong

nearby station.

Hi,

there is a small brown wire in the power plug, when connected to ground, places the radio in QRP low power mode suitable for battery / portable operation.
