Jackson is not an oppertunist. He is getting very old and he didn't believe that he would live to see the day. He has no oppertunity and his oppertunity was in the 80s, but failed. That was nearly 20 years ago. I don't think he has anything to cry for if your talking about opertune wise.
I have to admit that I thought that it was fake at first. But I have heard some conservative commentators that felt he was sincere and pointed out how reserved he usually is. He typically carefully guards his emotions and they felt it was real. They had a good point. I am still a little skeptical. But I do not really spend time on it, it is what it is.

Jesse is probably about 72 years old and still looking pretty good.
