Having actually been involved in this fight, I can tell you the video is somewhat misleading. Especially the count. Alot of that # changing was lag crashes. :)

Also the person shooting the video is piloting a Scorpion class battleship. The modules in his 'med slots' are actually the Cruise Missiles in his high slots.

More Propaganda I fear. But a good video, and a great battle nonetheless. :)

Basically the smaller Fix Force fought off a much larger hostile force. They warped in at ~150 with long range sniping ships killed a few guys and ran as soon as the enemies got near. Then warped back in 150km away in a different direction, repeat and rinse.

The IAC fleet of 100+ ships are camping a gate. The McFix group warps in on them at sniping distance and takes out a few ships before warping out and repeating the process. The blue guys are McFix.

Not really. The Eve univers is gigantic in every way! I haven't played much at all but read a lot. And it seems that gaining territorial, political and military powers is centre of a lot. So Eve is about control, control, control. Which is posessed trough a corporations (guild/clan/family/whatever) operations.

Well, you know, as much as IAC likes to believe that they fended off the attack all by themselves they had a lot of help. We (I was in FIX at the time) were pretty much constantly outnumbered and IAC brought in so many people one night the node crashed like 5 times.

Also, p there's a lot of hostility in some of these comments, people should remember this is just a game and you're supposed to have fun.
