  • the fuck?

  • What can I use instead of rice wine and instead of asian pears.

  • i cant understand what the first ingredient is.

  • @parodypertiki It's low sodium soy sauce.

  • delicious~~~~~~~~~~smell hmmmmmmmm

  • I'd be interested in knowing why Chef Nihoff says the beef shouldn't be marinated overnight, or in any event longer than the half-hour to an hour he suggests.

  • Is that chef an offical Korean chef or does he just know some dishes.

  • she's not good at chopsticks stirring lmao how come you guys look up asian stuff to critisize being corrected?

  • English = McDonald's

    Japanese pronunciation = Ma-ku-Do-na-ru-do

  • what the hell...she said it very well....I can cleary understand what she said.

  • Why don't they have any measurements? :C

  • ok I never heard stiring meat with a chopstick. Aren't you supposed to stir with your hand

  • looks good but i would use less sugar

  • You forgot to add chop scallions and chop onions...

  • I think they pronounce it buRgogi, because the korean symbol for L is pronounced like a `r` if it comes before a vowel or a semi-vowel.... Which is not the case here, but I dont think they know that.

  • korean is superb than english and every languages.

so. korean can translate every languages but even a language in this earth can't translate full of koreans.

and this is the reason why here is no winner about the Nobel Prize in Literature. becuz korean language and characters are so superb than world. can't translate even half of korean expression. it is infinite. and it is developed about 500 years. here is no even a language which is developed about 500 years. but Nobody knows this truth

  • @gundrag000

Japs like you should be grateful that Katakana and Hiragana origianted in Korea, without it, you guys won't even write. ^___^

  • @gundrag000 Are you on drugs? What a lot of fucking shite you are talking. Many 'Living' languages are over 500 years old. You sound like the usual nationalistic racists I met when I lived in Korea. And by the way, I saw and heard lots of really bad English when I lived there, so your assertion that Koreans can translate 'every languages' (lol) is a poor, misinformed, jingoistic, silly, laughable, moronic, douchey one. Go fuck off and play some Starcraft, you dick.

  • ...we don't have salt ...JUST "some sugar"

I like other recipe that instead of sugar they put KIWI.

  • all you have to admit korea is just superb as hell. and stop trolling. here is so many japanese who keeps making trolling videos about korea. but here is no even a korean who keeps making trolling videos about japan. but yeah even here is no many koreans. also korea is superb on internet. most koreans don't use this low level video community site. hahahaha.. even here is live HD unlimited broadcasting site (chat with 1~5,000 people in a room.)

fuck this world. power and money is all. shit :(

  • @gundrag000

No wonder Japan has such a lower IQ and literacy than Korea! Heck, even North Korea has better rate than Japan. ^___^

  • Thanks for amounts...NOT! Here they are for the marinade: 1/2 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup granulated white sugar 2 t. sesame oil 1 clove garlic, chopped fine 2 T. Mirin 3/4 cup grated Asian Pear 1/2 small yellow or white onion, grated 1 T. fresh ginger, grated (use microplane) 1 T. toasted white sesame seeds 1/2 t. black pepper
  • Um,. we?

  • Comment removed

  • @ccRyuS2 fruit juice ? hmmm.. that sounds much better

  • Hey everyone you gotta try Galbi~!!! All my non-korean friends love it soooo much!

( Actually, they love it more than me and my korean friends ) Also Galbi means

rib in korean language but I want you to eat the seasoned one

blame me if you tasted and you hated!!!

  • I find it funny that he says "we" when he refers to koreans :3...

  • @KonnichiwaX I find it funny when I see asians with shitty dyed blond hair, drinking red wine in europe. Racist cunt.

  • @ullapoolposse Not the same thing? I think you're being a racist right now, AND a hypocrite LOL. Racist cunt :)

  • @KonnichiwaX He says 'In Korea, we like to layer a lot of our spices....' . The 'we' in his sentence could refer to 'we' who LIVE in Korea, and not, as YOU have suggested in your original post 'we' koreans. He, I'm sure doesn't think of himself as Korean. Therefore, your original post was a little bit racist. And, yes you're still a cunt. "We" Europeans think you're a cunt. I asked around.

  • @ullapoolposse "could have" "Would have" :) Was it racist to point out i thought it was funny when he said "we" while refering to koreans? In no way was that racist. But you clearly are a racist, and have no clue about what the term mean. Go look it up. get enlightened. Since you have time to go through comments made 1 year ago, you surely have a lot of time on your hands to freely look up this thing you got going..Have a good life, i will be trollin youre sad excistence no more

  • I'm glad you didn't use the Korean chopsticks you may get electrical shock to death if you use the electrical stoves.

  • @anhdillion what is this guy talking about... can you go and test and upload a video for me ^.^?

  • Shoot, did you guys catch the "low-sodium" soy sauce? That pretty much eliminates the over-saltiness, and I marinate my bulgolki for four hours and then freeze it. It's never too salty.

  • why wouldn't you want to marinade it overnight?

  • They say it gets too salty because it becomes over marinated, but personally I don't think it matters because people do it all the time. I usually make them in batches and freeze the portions I don't eat right away and turns out fine. Besides, if it becomes too salty you just eat more rice with it haha.

  • they say bulgogi so funny :D

  • lol around the world in 80 dishes. It is difficult to learn ANY other language especially if it's language(s) root(s) are entirely different. Not only are the words different but also the emphasis on certain words.

  • BULGOGGGGGGGGIGGGGGI!!!!!!

I would just buy bulgogi sauce from a local Korean market. Too complicated for most Americans.

  • we usually use the vinyl glooves when we marinate the meats. we don't use chopsticks and pick the meats. the taste will be different.

  • Its hard to pronounce correctly because the sound isn't really in the English language. It sounds more like "pull ko gee". The "pull" part isn't easy to say, though. The emphasis is on the first syllable, not the second.

And the person who said stupid white people is a moron. I can't say some spanish things, I don't expect someone from a different culture to say a Korean word perfectly. Stop being an ass.

  • without a doubt this man checks this video everyday and reads your posts so everyone go nuts.

  • mmm... bulgogi.

  • You morons need to give it a rest. So she mispronounced the word, so what? I'm Korean and I can tell you that it's no big deal. For fuck's sakes, Asians butcher English words ALL THE TIME. Have you ever heard a Japanese say "Hot Dog" before? It's the funniest thing in the world. They say "Ho-to-Do-go". Asians butcher English words all the time. Lay off the lady already, you arrogant bums.

  • korean, too and agree.

  • @EnterTheCow I agree, Im sure koreans could say a lot of weird stuff if i was trying to speak korean. I had a korean guy in class who said "poriticoo praty" (political party), but nobody made fun of his accent. Most important about language is understanding each other.

  • @EnterTheCow she did butcher it pretty bad but you do have a good point

  • I agree, she totally killed the word.

  • Ignorant

  • You can't pronounce bulgogi... ._.

  • their definition of bulgogi, well, they are right about how it is marinated beef, but it doesn't really include the beef being wrapped in lettuce leaf. the use of lettuce leaves as wraps is actually called samgyupsal, and within the wrap, are thick, fatty slices of pork belly meat (similar to uncured bacon).

  • Actually... Samgyupsal is simply Pork Belly meat. The use of lettuce leaves is just an option. A popular option none the less but the use of the lettuce is not called Samgyupsal.

  • "you don't use chopsticks in korea?" good lord, what an idiot.

  • what a n00b.

  • Fake white people

  • Who's "we"? This guy is Korean?

Looks good--but spicy pork bulgogi is far superior!!

  • she can suck on my Bulgogi

  • you have bulgogi?... might wanna check that with a doctor, man

  • great stuff but that woman reminds me of sandra lee...

  • yam
