One of the best performances ever on IDOL.... hands down. It was perfect. I felt sorry for the judges because they were so overwhelmed they couldn't even come up with the right words to capture the moment.

Lambert is a superb "dramatic high tenor", so he can full voice up to around G/Ab6. In his "Born To Be Wild" cover, the scary-high notes he uses a "power" falsetto-mix. The end of "Whole Lotta Love" is all full-voice. There's a lot of crossover range between his full voice extension and his false-mix. (owing to his superb technique as well as his 'dramatic' voice type.)

This is what he usually uses for his high notes, but every now and again he works in a powerful false-mix note. (if he's sustaining a long note above F6, its likely a false-mix) I work with advanced singers every day, so I get to hear a lot of examples. Usually its obvious, but Lambert is so good it can be hard to tell!
@HikariDragonRyuu Not in this song, he's not. =) Male "mixing" IS falsetto, placed forward to ring heavily on the mask, which almost sounds like a full extension (minus some grit). Everything else in this song (including the highest notes) were full voice and full voice extension (example: 1:55 - 2:02).

Adam is a phenomenal singer. Unfortunately after the last phase of American Idol has become a true representative of the gay community. His concerts are a veritable gay shows. Playing music for gay.He talk only about the gay community in this concerts.Lascivious kisses to the member's band. There's only one step and his concerts are gay porn mouvies. Too bad for his future. I look only at representations of the American Idol. is fantastic.

He only lost because he is gay.....we all know that. Kris Allen nowhere to be seen...but Adam is on all the shows and has so much talent. It's too bad American is so against gays......we don't bother anyone....so get over it. Many of us gays just work in all kinds of jobs and just live our lives.......why be so mean. Hey I'm gay...but I write educational products for children, so thay can learn to read and right....has nothing to be about being gay...I write good stuff to teach children.

This is the most HANDSOME he's ever looked! He always looks cute but i fell in love with him here. The black suit, the hair, his posture, that voice, his sweetness, and most importantly his personality/character <3 What an amazing person.
