"So yeah, that does mean something in the real world."
How I wish I could believe that. Given the way the world is spiraling out of control in certain situations, how I wish it were possible to just let those who are peacemakers do their thing to assist in making the world we live it better by accepting others as they are & continuing to teach values worth learning.
@PrincessAriel2sing: You're contradicting yourself. First you say you "had no friends in elementary school ...By the time I got to high school I was popular as hell because I had to learned to try to not care what others think of me", yet turn right around in saying that popularity equals friendship? Seriously, popularity in school stereotypically puts one in within the cool crowd, not really out there with those who're often bullied, since it's the popular crowd that usually does the bullying.
@PrincessAriel: Respect & love do NOT equate to social status among the cool crowd aka stereotypical popularity as it is defined within the school setting. In fact, most of those presented as popular are usually depicted as the vain & shallow types, highlighted more often than not by meathead jocks with the brain the size of a pea or preppy yet snobbish cheerleaders. If your school was among the exceptional few who celebrated differences by letting anyone different shine, then good job for it!
To be honest they should have had the party at Muffy's house...for real she might have a game room and everything else from being rich! And what about the clown?
"It's everyone's birthday so nobody is left out!" That is some lame ass shit. I had no friends in elementary school and I'm the better for it. It really built my character. By the time I got to high school I was popular as hell because I had to learned to try to not care what others think of me. It's one thing to prevent brutal bullying, but kids need to not be so protected from feeling a little left out, it teaches skills for the real world.
@PrincessAriel2sing: "By the time I got to high school I was popular as hell",you say, yet populafity means jack sqatt in the real world, celebrities excepting.
@TherealRNO I disagree. Popularity, the way I meant it, means a lot of friends. Not queen of the school. I wasn't the one who dictated and bullied others, just loved and respected because I did my own thing So yeah, that does mean something in the real world. It gave me confidence. Kind of rude of you to assume you know what another's experiences mean to them, actually.
If a pinata was strong enough not even a chainsaw can cut it your best bet is military issue shotgun shells or civillian buckshots cause the military can blow open a steel door while buckshot can break it due to their spread while the slug will just make a hole so don't use a slug but if thise don't work sue the company.
@jotoondan101 She's just 8! Arthur got a fucking dollar for babysitting for an hour, they think a few dozen quarters is a fortune. It's their damn parents that are cheap. Also Francine is a jew so lol.
@FrozenOcean13 You are so right! What I'm saying is that why do people think boys wearing dresses is bad, but when girls where male clothes, it's cool? It's so hypocritical!
@webkinzspongebob Yes, that is indeed unfair. But it comes from our society's view that it is perfectly normal to want to be like a male because males are viewed as the better sex. So of course it's natural that a girl may play with trucks and wear blue, because she wants to be like the superior sex. But as soon as a boy wants to play with dolls or wear clothes that are considered "girly", it's frowned upon. This is simply because women are seen as being inferior.
@FrozenOcean13: But even so, there can be sensitive guys & tough guys, just as there are girly-girls & tomboys. It's like bellybuttons, religions (or lack thereof), skin/hair/eye colors, nationalities, orientations, et al...everyone has their own distinct personality, with each one having its own set of stereotypes.
@TherealRNO I don't really understand what point you're trying to make. You're saying everyone has stereotypes? I suppose so. And yes, there are different types of girls and boys...
