When I turned 10 though I got Ruby and that one went a lot better for me. I actually beat all the gym leaders and the Elite Four, caught the legendaries, everything! It was my favourite =) Now Pokémon games are easy for me, no game will ever be the same as Ruby was for me =P Such an experience.

It's strange how with every set of games, they try to make a better set of legendaries that seem more important than the ones before. Now with time, space, and distortion stuff, Nintendo would have to use a machine to rip Pokemon into the real world, then rip open a portal to an alternate dimension where they can control everything, and the next thing you know, a level 100 bajillion Ken Sugimori is out on the loose.

1. It's called FireRed, douche.

2. They didn't just improve the graphics and music. They enhanced the OVERALL GAMEPLAY by integrating Pokemon natures, EV points, IV points, and the ability to hold items (first introduced in GSC).

3. Of course RBY is the king of the franchise, it's where Pokemon began after all. But that doesn't mean you can say FireRed "sucks". It's a great remake of an old-school classic with modernized retouches. And the ability to transfer Pokemon to DPP is a MAJOR plus.

2.- IV and EV have been with pkmn since forever ;). The Natures are "Advance generation" new toys, is obvious than RG/GL as ADV. games they HAVE to have them, in other case...they would be uncompatible with RZE or DP...and that would be stupid because the main reason why these remakes were made was to be able to catch kanto pkmns for the 16-bits generation

I understand why you prefer RBY because of nostalgia, but that doesn't change the fact that FR and LG are indefinitely remakes. The dialogue is exactly the same almost word for word.

Also, EV and IV points haven't been in Pokemon since the beginning... The 1st and 2nd generation games only had varied stat distribution. The 3rd generation introduced the ability to MANIPULATE stats via power items and EV training.
