  • wow you're awesome

  • awesome video...thank you millions

  • she nice

  • Wow Lindsay. Just 'found' this vid. Thanks for sharing this.

  • You are truely inspiring! What you're talking about.,. it feels like deep down we all know it already but in society our minds get clouded and we forgot.. Loved the video

  • haha, i had the same situation with my mother. shes like yeah, it doesnt matter, n i said 'yeah, why dont u shave ur head with me?!' (because shes been getting tired of it thinning out and not cooperating) but she was like 'no way' haha.

but yeah, reality check for sure!

    great video! thanks for posting!

  • Looks great on you!

  • yes very interesting. It is not that you no longer look like a girl, gender as definition doesn't enter my perception.Yet in the video before you cut your hair, yeah, tht "gosh you look like a girl" comment I left was my honest 'reaction' to seeing you with hair (possibly the first time).

I had noticed head shaving removed attraction perspectives from my definitive responses to what I am/was seeing, I guessed it was on a sexual level, tho I now wonder if it isn't a gender definition that I am...

  • @mistaAnthonyWilson lol - yeah, I would investigate this point...I saw you sent me a vid from your experience of seeing me with hair...will watch it and give further perspective if applicable.

All points of gender will and must be transcended, along with any type of image/identity that goes along with it.

  • @LLCraver . yeah. transcending definitions is gonna be interesting. every tried not using them. and with that I reveal that I used the term "gender specific" as a term of referance so that viewers could understand my perception as I was explaining . oh shit (as in the un-holy sort) U havenee watched thee video YET. n then I notice I said as much in the comment U answered that I AM replying to . thanks Lindsay. . ALL thee BEST. . yeah LIVING 4 SELF I agree .
  • Wherever you go there you are.

  • i was feeling REALLY insecure about it. now that i watched your vid.. im really inspired. your really brave! haha your my new hero<3 thank u .

  • @namibe11 cool - thanks for watching.

our existence cannot depend on anyone else b/c that would show that we are allowing ourselves to be controlled, not only by other people, but our minds as well. this type of existence is quite abusive and supports much abuse to be in this world.

best to stand up and not allow this type of behavior within ourselves.

  • wow.. hey so im an eighth grade girl, and you know.. not to brag or anything but i guess i was one of those ppl to be considered 'the hottest girl in school'

a month after school started, i cut it. for a few reasons. and honestly, i REALLY hate it. every guy has stopped liking me. yeah its like and inch and a half long. i felt bummed about it, but at the same time i felt stronger. i was learning to not care what ppl think of me. every now and then it bugs me..like right now.

  • @namibe11 thanks 4 sharing - yeah, we are definitely not our image/appearance, so it's cool that you were faced w/the ideas you had about yourself through cutting your hair. If you are existing in such a way where you mood/emotions are directed by outside sources - for ex. getting attention from guys @ school - than that just shows that you were living for someone else, not yourself, as who you really are. We are taught how we should look, act, think through conditioning - time to stop that.

  • I think it looks really high fashion when a girl shaves her head. I'm very attached to my hair, I don't think I'd be able to do it..

  • @EWilsonLife This has nothing to do w/'high fashion'.

This has to do w/living equality - if we have resistances to shave our head based on image & fear of what others would think of us based on our limited perception of who we think we are, then it's best to simply shave our head & see who we have allowed ourselves to exist as - are we existing as merely a picture image/a style? or are we actually existing as who we really are, which isn't defined by our appearance at all? important ?s to ask!

  • Comment removed

  • @abx547 nobody said we 'needed to shave our head for equality' - it is suggested, especially if we have ideas around hair & style...even if we don't, it's a cool stance to take, but definitely not 'required'....it's important, if we are standing for equality, to ? who we think we are & why we participate in what we participate in to make sure that we are living equality, not just taking it on as knowledge & information, or hiding behind excuses in order to stay w/in our limited existence.

  • I think your look is cool! I used to have very short hair, and I liked it. And you're right about the feeling powerful. I felt kind of liberated, hehe. One thing about less hair....it frees you up for more creative pursuits, but I'm sure you know that. And thanks for the sub. I returned the favor. :)

  • I don't understand

The point of this there is nothing wrong with likein ur hair or styling it or dyeing it it's a form of expression just the same as shaving it hello wake up

  • @babe6792 Whats ACTUALLY happening when we think we're 'xpressng' ourselves, as u say, is that we're supporting & xprssng ourselves as a system in which animals are abused & tested on so that people can think they look 'beautiful' based on a conditioned idea thats placed in our mind based on our enviro/society - no 1 is outside of this conditioning, some are just so enslaved they don't see it or don't want to admit it & others say, fuck that, i'm not going 2 allow this abuse anymore - WAKE UP!

  • I really liked what you said about how when your former partner reacted the way he did, you realised you didn't need someone who was going to put limitations on you,and only accept you if you fit his idea of what you should be. Big thumbs up. This is a lesson so many out there need to learn.

  • @Kamyel indeed kamyel - the only way we can be controlled by someone is if we allow ourselves to be controlled, and that is by anything - be it a partner, our family, our friends, our education, society, gov't - you name it - even ourselves, most importantly ourselves. We allow ourselves to be controlled by our thoughts that tell us we are better than our less than another, which just causes separation.

Time to stop that and stand for life.

    thanks for watching and commenting

  • This video is increadible!! You rock girl!! :D

  • I know you didn't do it for style - but fuck it's awesome! But I think the most attractive thing though is your attitude and your kick-ass-ness. You so rock. I was cheering for you! Very empowering even to watch.

  • shear beauty

  • guess what

  • people are just hiding in there hair if u shave it off thats what i did u are free to do any thing and everything thing i got one of my friends thats a girl to shave her long hair with me she loves it and i love it

  • Not sure how i stumbled on ur video, but it was definitely a delight.:) It took me back to my own journey n self-discovery, which is still a play on-stage. I could see b4 u shaved it ur spirit ready to rise and soar...ha! For me, i think every1 should be able to find that place within their own skin that makes them feel totally and completely at peace...whether it is with hair or without hair-when u reach that place of comfort, u can soar...u are home!:) Best wishes on ur journey...:)

  • Why did she cut her hair? What was the purpose?

  • You look great with it shaved:) I clip mine very short due to migraines - can't deal with hair issues - it took too much time and caused too much pain...

  • Indeed. Shaving your head is qite a liberating experience.

  • its so freeing isnt it? when going out no need to worry about fixing hair, just go and then you are just HERE, able to see things in the moment, without the "thought" of "hey is my hair fine? does this person like my hair?" all that stuff, gone, and you are just HERE expressing your self.

  • @KennethLilagan Indeed! but, I hv found tht shaving head doesn't = FREE/being HERE because if 1 isn't careful a whole load of other thoughts can stream in...wht do "they" think about my bald head? do "they" think i hv cancer? are "they" staring @ me? Oh shit, Is that a pimple on the back of my head! What will the ppl think!? lol! Really, there is no end to the thoughts, if 1 doesn't STOP them! Shaving the head is a vry useful tool on mny levels, but it takes dedication to SELF to be HERE!

  • @LLCraver yea, thats how it was for me when i first shaved my hair and then i went out and everyone was staring at me, even a couple of girls gave me some mean looks, that was my first time out with the bald head, but after that i work on the points, i dont have those thoughts anymore, its really assisting because you get to see the points how we have defined ourselves as a "picture" presentation image

  • @KennethLilagan Yeah, it is very assisting because you can work on the points of image with your hair still, but it's much easier to fall back into comfort zones and just let the loop/picture keep going. Shaving the head can be quite traumatic for some, which is great, because then they will see how much they have relied on that "picture" presentation...that's why it's a cool dare...do it, and see what happens!

  • @LLCraver awesome Lindsay, thank you for standing up as Life!

  • really cool Lindsay!

  • really cool Lindsay!

  • You look stunning

  • Wow! You look beautiful...

  • cool Lindsay - hair shaving is quite funny, I have also done it - and also we do not need anymore some kinds of chemical hair-stuffs and therefore -

    KEEP THE WATER CLEAR

  • @klausibaba6 OH YEAH! CLEAR WATER = CLEAR MIND = CLEAR WORLD!

  • awesome Lindsay!

  • razor shave it

  • @benjigoad2 THANK YOU BENJI - DONE AND DONE!

  • cool,

yea when you shave from the starting point of some idea which is energy - there is the safety of knowing you can just grow it back if you become insecure, when the energy of the idea runs out. which shows that there was fear existent the whole time, beneath the energy of the idea

in doing it as an act of self honesty, we can actually keep it shaved and walk through any point of 'wanting my hair back' that may come up

  • @MattiFreeman1 haha! that's so interesting! I used to feel that way about HAVING MY HAIR BACK, which was just another idea. I kept WANTING to shave it, but turned that into thinking it was a complex and I SHOULD WANT HAIR! i had already DONE the "shaved head thing", so i was done with that "phase" and wasn't trying to be special, or stand out, or blah, blah, blah...

Messy, messy, messy existence to wade through - but it's so FUN!

  • Bravo!! I am happy for your liberation from hair. I've recently embraced the faceworldfaceoff philosophy as well. I personally love the reactions that people who 'knew me' express when they see the 'new' me. Let's show this world, from our starting point, that we shall not participate in this narcissistic and superficial aspect of life! Furthermore, cessession from capitalism and monetary disparity.

  • @seraphimra awesome! i love that play on "knew" and "new"! great! yeah...it's pretty much...all there is to do! so.....LET'S DO IT!

  • cool! you did it

  • watch chris rocks good hair documentary, shows how indians shave there head for spiritual reasons, then the temple sells the hair which is then made into weave and sold in america

  • Your honesty is incredibly inspiring. :) Thank you for sharing your journey.

  • @RPJoey :) !!!

  • WOAH! :D

  • COOL

  • Cool LL

  • Cool Lee

  • Yeah nice u look free...thanks for sharing!

  • AWESOME!!!!

  • Testing...

  • Error???? I guess youtube didn't like my comment...

A simple act that reveals so much dishonesty. Those that hang onto their hair don't even know what they are "missing".

  • @LloydKJackson tell me about it...it IS so simple, and they crazy thing is, people would rather DIE! and they will, oh yes, they will!
