Still really like this album, it's nothing incredibly groundbreaking, but a good listen throughout. Also, I believe the drummer from Faith No More is providing the live drumming on this track... if my memories from the old cassette insert are accurate.
i think this album was horrible my pops had it on tape..but i fux with stone cold rhymin after that he fell off thats just my opinion but im sure someone will try and talk
shit dont waste your breath cuz i dont give a fuck.
This is so Legit.....young mc is the only rapper i like and this song is just beast.....hes not talking about shooting people hmmm where did rap go to
That arpeggio during the chorus is Bad News from the Killing Fields soundtrack, the bass is from the end of Part 1 of Tubular Bells and at 3'00 is an excerpt from Ommadawn, all by Mike Oldfield.
This was always one of my favorite songs off the second album. There were multiple times I'd take this album/song into a Psychology classroom in college, and EVERY time, the professor asked for a copy of it to play to his or her other Psych classes.
Marvin Young was, and likely always will be one of the best lyricists out there. Intelligent, easy to understand and just fun.
fast lane was an amazing tune... marvin young was and is one of the most un respected lyracists of all time! he gave tone loc a career and he had some of the biggest hits in hip hop.
That`s the Point confrontating with such a perfect Song. 01:46 starts an acoustic Overload. Thanx for this Uploading.
