Sinn Sisamouth started his career in the early 60s and started with orchestrated ballads along with most singers from the era. As the Vietnam War went into full swing they were influenced with Western music in the late 60s early 70s. Nevertheless they didn't forget their roots and still composed ballads while adopting their newly found genres. You can say their music has indeed changed with time as Cambodia by the 1970s was going through political turmoil.
It seems that Sinn Si Samouth, Ros Serey Sothea and many other popular Cambodian artists have done a lot of these orchestrated ballads, but there's also a lot of rock n roll style songs by them. (my favorite kind) Were these all recorded around the same time or did they change their styles with time?
