I've seen some videos and actual metal bands don't even stop, they encourage it. So, touring with 16 year old emo girl cliques might be better for BMTH, but it was hardly their fault that some assholes turn up to the concert to kick the shit out of someone and wreck the performance of the song.

I have not once been at a hardcore show where a singer hasn't stopped the show if a fight breaks out. Someone getting stomped may not be new, but that doesn't mean they won't go out of there way to stop someone from doing it.

@TheBr00talcore haha well if every show you've been to the singer has stopped playing because of a fight this must have been the only show you've been to. every show i've ever been to (even the punk shows i went to when i was twelve) there has been a fight. i go to heavy metal shows regularly and this is the only one where the singer stopped the show. there are vids of just about every concert ever played, show me one where the singer stops the show because of a fight.
