  • That kid with the Goldtop needs a strat bad!!!! He's ripping up those Srv-style licks like its no ones business. The start would be perfect for that.

  • Is this with Ernie and the Automatics? Barry is one of my all time favorites and Cody has some nice chops

  • @gruffmusic Yes, this is Ernie and the Automatics with Barry Goudreau.

  • Barry is the man! I love his tone and style.

  • cody is in the jazz band at my school and fucking dominates

  • Get some Barry!!!

  • Both were great, but barry has about 4 decades more experience and wasnt trying to out play the kid they were just rockin out together!

  • barry looks the exact same as he did in the 70s!!!

  • I liked Barry's playing better but the tone on the Les Paul Goldtop is way better

  • Barry is a guitarist from the seventies.

    His playing has feeling.

    Way best.

  • Barry is obviosly more experianced he looks at least mid 30s early 40s from vid anyway and codys 16 so if come right down to it Cody was better

  • Lol, do you even know who Barry is?

  • @jrbostonrocks do you?

  • Yes, he is from Boston, he was with them on the first 2 albums, Boston, and Dont look back. He split from them after that and was a part of a number of bands such as RTZ, and Delp/Goudreau. Boston is by far my favorite band and cant believe you questioned me! But you don't know me so I guess that's understandable

  • Barry was better

  • Both have talent,

    Both had awesome chops,

Both put up a good fight,

    BOTH ROCKED THE HOUSE.

However, the display of skills very clearly showed that Barry Goudreau had more experience.

And, although not by a margin, I'd say that Barry was the victor when it came right down to it.

  • Barry rocks :D especially with boston in the song "Dreams"

  • "Dreams" is from Barry's solo album, not Boston

  • Not a Boston song, I beileve its Delp/Goudreau. Came out with that song some time after Boston split in the late 70's. So song came out around the early 80's. Good song though!

  • It's a Freddie King song called Going Down.

  • I wasnt refering to this song, I was commenting on the song Dreams. What Bigtrain421 was talking about.

  • cody the kid is my brothers frend he lives down the street from me

  • Good stuff.

  • Hate to say it but the kid sounded better than Barry there. He has great chops!

  • oh come on haha. He was great, but barry is amazing.

  • This so cool, to see, Barry & Sib playing together again. Good tunes from the entire band. They have a great sound and fir those of you who don't know who Barry Goudreau or John "Sib" Hashian are, they are two of the original members of the rock band Boston and its so cool to see they are still at it.
