  • Gixxer is so comfortable, best sounding inline-4 engine yet, looks good in real life showroom not in photos over Google. I know i craved the r6 when i starting looking at 600s. Then i sat on all 4 jap bikes and came to the conclusion:

IMO, Yamaha and Kawasaki are both similar in a way that it is built for the track, MOST uncomfortable, and in real life it actually looks uglier. R6 has the worst sound, followed by ZX6r. I was torn between CBR and GSXR but Suzuki is much more exciting and fun!!!!

  • @lornDog91: also I won't come at you in anger because you respectfully stated your opinion and I can respect that. But when some idiot that doesn't know what he's talkin about calls you a moron and you provide him proof in writing that he's an idiot(and now video proof)and he just ignores it and doubles down on the insults,I find it hard not to reply back in kind! Sorry I'm only human........

  • @lornDog91: dude I know!!! If you look at my prior comments I've said over and over that they aren't the exact same thing! But track vehicles are representative of manufacturers flagship production models. For example, in NASCAR for toyota it's the camry. For chevy its the impala. Any idiot knows that the production model and the race car are nothing alike except for the body and the motor. But like I said before it's another form of promoting and marketing their product.

  • @MrWeasel1984: d me a moron. Don't believe me? Look for it on YouTube, it's on here. Can't wait to hear your response! But I bet you'll have nothing to say because if after that you still can't admit who is the real moron is, then there is really nothing that can be done to teach you anything because you're obviously one of those idiots who sees things as you want them and not how they REALLY are!

  • @derekgharris no offence, but even the R1 in WSBK has only one component the same as the stock R1 road bike. so it doesnt really matter because every bike that is proffesionally raced with is changed so much its not really the same bike. i ride a SV650 on the street :) because i dont need a big engine to feel big. track bikes and street bikes are not the same. :D have a nice day, and dont comment to me with lots of anger because i literally cant be bothered, just expressing my view :D

  • @MrWeasel1984: hey GENIUS it's me as you so eloquently put it "moron". I was just wondering if you had seen the newest Yamaha commercial airing on tv right now? It shows various Yamaha machines and their championship accomplishments of those machines and when they and I quote the YAMAHA commercial on this,"to number one in MotoGP",did you notice what they showed at the exact moment that quote was said? IT WAS A FUCKING R1!!! Pretty much backs up what I said 6 months ago when your dumb ass calle

  • the police in Macau, China are using the 08 Yamaha R6 I guess? all in white its so bad ass :$

  • poeple worry about these factors why? when less that 5% of bike owners don't even go on the track. they are all good bikes. its about your personal style.

    ride safe guys, gear up

  • my problem is I cannot decide which I want, I love the GSXR, ZX and the Triumph arghhhh

  • @freedomsoldier187 I just bought the 2009 R6 and I don't know if its just because its my bike, but no other bike is better looking. Initially I thought the GSXR was better looking, but now it just looks ugly to me.

  • who cares about your stupid fag british triumph?

  • anyway please stop talking bull shit i can smell your top lip from here!

  • you are so obviously american! thick as pig shit! the world superbike series uses a R1 not moto gp! the M1 is a specially made machine for moto gp that you can not buy! the only thing it has in common with the R1 is the big bang engine (i won't even try to explain how that works, you won't understand) everything from the rear wheel to the front wheel is totally different! if you want a bike that is almost a moto gp bike on the road there is 1 option the desmosedici ducati!

  • @MrWeasel1984: You're out of your league trying to debate this with me and you need to quit while you're BEHIND! Like I explained in my comment to that other dude, of course they're not the exact same thing. But the R1 is based on the M1 and that comes from YAMAHA! When you can't even understand an article from YAMAHA that say how close the two are linked plus(and I quote)"the new generation Motogp inspired R1" I think everyone will see who is retarded and who isn't!

  • @MrWeasel1984:You dumb fucking idiot! Is that the best response you can come up with? That fuckin wasn't even a nice try! You get on here and make empty, generic, unsubstantiated comments of what you THINK you know(which ain't shit)while I provide your fucking dumb ass the FACTS in writing from YAMAHA to substantiate my comment and I'm the "retarded twat?" YEAH RIGHT!!

  • @MrWeasel1984: So wuzzup dawg it's been over two hours and now you've got nothin to say all of a sudden...... Yeah that's what the fuck I figured! Next time don't try to cheap shot someone who is your intellectual superior and in the words of my man Obama ,"let this be a teachable moment."

  • @derekgharris hahahahahahahaha by making these comments you have shown everyone what a retarded twat you really are! like i said do your homework moron! you should stay away from bikes if you have little or no knowledge of what you are looking at! just because rossi helped develop the big bang R1 doesn't mean it is anything like the M1! and as for your comment saying the dominant bike in the moto gp is the R1, well what do you expect people to say when you make comments like that?

  • @MrWeasel1984: Furthermore IDIOT if you google the M1 there's a link; Motogp-Yamaha YZR-M1-Yamaha racing. Click on it and towards the bottom of the page on the right there's a pictur of an R1 with the title:YZF R1 BORN FROM MOTOGP! Read it ASSHOLE, i.e YOU do YOUR homework b4 making comments MORON!!!

  • @MrWeasel1984: Ok GENIUS, instead of opening your BIG MOUTH and tossing cheap shots around thru generic statements of no substance, why don't you back your shit up with the homework you've done?

  • @ahujenaskrc: and second the point( that must have clearly flown over you head)was made in the summation of the comment; YAMAHA IS WHOOPIN' EVERYBODY'S ASS ON THAT CIRCUIT( and yes that includes Ducati). The comment was aimed at comparing manufacturers as was the video being commented on, once again:DUH!!

  • @ahujenaskrc: dude slow your roll! You completely missed the point being made in my comment. First off, duh,of course the M1 is not the exact same thing as the R1 but it is based on yamaha's flagship streetbike same as the chevy impala Jimmy Johnson drives isn't the same as the production model. But they both represent what the common person could buy if they wanted that particular machine for their own pleasure.

  • @derekgharris are you serious?

  • YAMAHA R6 without a doubt or any equivocations!! Just look at the dominant bike in the Moto GP circuit(the Mecca of motorcycle racing)it's the R1. The R6 is the 600cc version of the R1. YAMAHA IS WHOOPIN' EVERYBODY'S ASS IN THAT CIRUIT(and yes that includes Ducati)!!

  • @derekgharris Comparing 1 million worth motoGP bike M1 with a R1 is simply absurd.

  • @derekgharris do your homework before making comments moron!

  • @derekgharris you said and i quote (just look at the dominant bike in the moto gp circuit it's the R1.) no it isn't moron! like i said stay away from bikes! when you pass your test and are out of nappies then comment! i work for yamaha you little rent boy!

  • 09 zx6r or 09 cbr600 which is better or faster?

  • with all things being even or almost even, Id go with the fit and finish of a honda.

  • Just my two cents in this apparently trivial comparison... R6 makes a fine street bike because it's down on low end power which translates to a surprisingly well mannered motorcycle around town and if you wanna get on it, the upper RPMs won't disappoint. Who cares about top speed or HP. They're all gonna get your ass quickly from A to B.

  • I'm new to riding. Have only been riding for 4 weeks. My first bike = 2009 ninja zx-6r. Amazing bike! You can start on a 600. I recommend the MSF course and some wisdom which comes with age ( I'm 26= less risk taking behavior). Happy trails.

  • i wonder what bike got the best results, does annyone know the results??if u can leave a reply of the results then that would be nice :).

  • @MonoRacer r6...for the second yr.

  • wheres the full video. cant find it on site

  • please any1 tel which 600cc is da best bike to buy,is it cbr o gsxr or zx,i don no which is da best please any1 answer

  • iv read an article in an 2009 issue of sports rider and the 09 zx6r had the best results in every category!

  • best results doesnt mean the best bike for you

  • True...

  • im not on a racetrack i love my F3, if i wanted raw power id get a kawi, refined power an R6, a stupid looking front end the suzuki(sry i hate them :D) and the triumph if i was looking for sometihng a lil more then a 600

  • They are all good. You'll have to decide whether it's CBR600 or ZX6r because there my friend I cannot help you with.

  • Look..Just ride each brand and find our for yourself..Cause if somebody tell you to buy a gsxr and you end up not liking the bike because it dont do this or that..The seat dont feel right to you or whatever..Ride each bike and see which one fits you..I like how he yamaha and kawasaki feels..I didnt like the other bikes to well..

  • No easy answer is the problem. Each bike is different and some people suit the riding style of one bike but not another. I ride a 675 which i brought cause 1 i loved the look and 2 thought it would be a great handling bike. It is an easy and hard bike to ride all at the same time, it hates going slow throught corners however is amazing throught twistys at speed. Also tho the throttle is smooth it has a short power band and requires the rider to be Jonny on the shot with gear changes.

  • They are all pretty much the same, its down to preferance i'd say.

  • witch one of this bike is the best for a first bike, and why?? Thanks

  • i'm getting a bike next April and asked the same Q. the answer was basically:

    1. don't start off with a 1000cc bike. the competition is so ferce that the differences between suzuki, kawi, honda are not very noticeble. it comes down to comfort and looks for a starter bike these days. get on a bike or two and get a feel for them.

    2. if you've never ridden before not even in a controlled envireonment, get yourself a used ninja 250 and use it for a few months.

    hope that helps. good luck

  • They are all good bike just not for your first bike.

  • Where's The Next Video Of this

  • gay gay or homosexual gay?

  • does the gixxer BLUE and WHITE looks GAY?

  • ill take one of each

  • I agree

  • kawasaki..the best superbike..

  • EY! IT'S MULLETMAN!

  • i have a r6... so i'll vote for the yamaha... but i want a new bike .. any suggestions keepin in the 600 (live in the city dont need 1000cc)

  • suzuki or kawasaki...well, i live in the city too, but i love my 1098...ducati the best

  • i live in the country and im on an FZ6 :P

  • when i was contemplating getting a bike last year i was all about those yamahas but when i read all the reviews and actually tried them all i went with the cbr. i prefered the styling, power band, ergos, undertail exhaust, and alot of other small things. im glad i went with the cbr. it just feels right for me, i feel comfortable on it, like it was tailored for guys like me. i think you should get the bike you get the best feel from. thats what i did and it worked out great for me.

  • 8300 miles on my 2008 cbr 600rr, no issues yet. badass bike. im goin for a 1krr soon

  • how fast have u had it up to so far?

  • 171mph

  • the new GSXR can go from a 750 to a 600 with the flip of a switch supposedly, but i like honda cbr and they feel great I would love to test out that ABS they got now

  • if your in the city get a Kawa Z750 i got R6 to o

  • then get a gxsr750 its a great bike corners great and has the power to keep up with the 1000's if need be

  • CBR baby!!!!!

  • Yamaha R6!!!!

  • Cbr all the way

  • It also only has 3 cylinders

  • Don't forget the Triumph only has 3 cylinders, not 4 like the CBR, ZX6, GSXR600 or R6. Therefor it is allowed a higher engine displacement (675cc) and still considered to be in the '600' class.

BTW, the Daytona 675 is a fantastic machine! That's why I bought one, over the rest.

  • that doesnt make any sence...

thats like you getting five quarters to my dollar bill just because you have coins!

  • Can I start riding on a Daytona 675 if I never rode before?

  • yes. As long as you are SMART and responsible. Not the best bike to learn on but you can do it.

  • I don't see why not. I learned how to ride on a brand new GSX-R 600. Never dropped it and never had any problems. Just don't act like an idiot and you will do fine.

  • honestly people need to stop arguin over which bike is better... they're all practically the same... its all about the rider... im sure one guy could ride all the bikes and pull faster lap times on the zx6, while another guy could ride them all and pull faster lap times on the cbr... its all about your riding style

  • @hammotox83 I agree with you on this one. 99% of riders probably can't tell the differences between all of them on the street but how each bike behaves on the track is very noticeable even for an amateur like me. For example, the ZX6R does have a a monster motor but isn't as sharp as the R6. LIke you said, it all comes down to riding style.

  • @hammotox83 +1

  • Anyone who flaps there gums about which bike is betta blah blah blah, there all so closely matched that you can't tell the difference, your splitting hairs, there all at the cutting edge of technology, just ride them n have fun, dont bs about whats better

  • ja its true words its just wat the rider will prefer like me the honda even if it does come last

  • i agree. i have the 09' gsx-r 600 and ive raced the r6 on the highway the crb600 and a few 1000's the 600's kept about the same with me. the 1000's of coarse won but all the cc catagories are almost the same despite weight and hp

  • Amen, you said it.

  • unless all you know-it-alls are supermoto riders which i just have to doubt....then none of you could tell the difference between these bikes...theyre all amazing machines which to the average joe cant tell the diffence...which bike is better? you decide on looks and comfort and go from there

  • just get the R6, my 08 R6 is fantastic however I love all bikes.

  • Triumph D675 already won

  • Triumph is a fat man's bike...that's why they put in the extra CC.

  • tooooo late boys and girls.............the 675 has already won the superbike 2009 title with zx second and cbr last!!! triumph is the fastest on every track and has proved this time after time. its not about hurtling at 170 down a straight as any dippy blonde can do that...its all about design and chassis to corner as well as awsome grunt in every gear. SO FCUK IT...IM NOT SURPRISED AT THE RESULT

  • well what exactly is the suzuki s-dms system ? Some say it delays the throttle response but keeps the power some say that it restricts the output from the engine significantly so what exactly is it ? If it does restrict the overall engine power what about the fuel consumption ? Does it take less fuel when in B or C mode ? in a city non-stoptraffic jam you dont need more then 10 Hp anyway ....

  • Probably the Triumph will win because the british are probably the most biased people on the planet who like to blow hot air up their arses. Hence why all their car manufacturers failed...because they thought they were the best which in fact they weren't...they were crap. When will british learn that they are about as special as norwegians...?

  • Coming from someone from Malawi? What the fuck have you given the world? haha, joker!

  • ill 2nd ToniBizzle on that hahahahaha

  • Comment removed

  • hahahahaha the triumph is a great bike for all around riding, ill say that now. yes the british do tend to be bias twords their creations but so do the yanks. lastly ToniBizzle, as gay as your name is your right.

  • 1) zx6r

    2) cbr

    3) r6

    4) gixxer

    5) triumph

  • you wish

  • quickest 1/4 mile

and 0-120 if im not mistaken.

all the bikes here are good.

it all depends what you look for in a bike.

i think this year will be the zx (daytona a very very close second) or maybe the other way round

  • ok a lot of people seem to be confused on their facts.

1st. the r6 is recored as doing 172.2 making it the fastest.

2nd. the zx on mcn's dyno shows 115bhp at the back wheel "making it the most powerful.

3rd. no triple has the topend of a il4. that doest make the daytona slow. it acutaly put down the best lap times and has way more grunt then the il4's(inline fours).

4th the cbr is a very good bike.its no frills ut has good mid range and is stupidly light.

it also has the quickest 0-60,

  • r6 has 133bhp

  • to the crankshaft not to the rear wheel

  • Comment removed

  • 675 doesnt have the top end power *sry about that

  • knuckleheadsz r6s dont hit 190mph bro they hit mid to high 160mphs like the other jap. 600cc bikes, an even though the 675 does have the top end power of the others it does accelerate faster look it. the cbr600 cant be shit special since it won the most out of all the 600cc bikes an its been said its the easest to ride , the zx6r is faster then the rest but only by like 2mph an gsx-r600 is right with the rest of them.

  • 190 on you r6. ok dude

  • wow reading the comments are so funny, everyone saying how this bike is better then this one lalala lol, first to whoever said something about the triumph being best, are u kidding top speed on that shit bike is like 156 LOL, thats a joke my R6 07 can do 180-190, as for the kid saying the cbr is best umm sorry wrong again..it has a decent mid range but high end sucks hard ass...truth be told u were prob racing 1999 modle bikes right? lol all you kids got jokes lol, twyche08 is only legit person

  • so to get it to go that fast you prob geared it tall then?

  • and bored and stroked the motor.. ya thats my guess to.. guess what..haha tis nto 600cc class anymore is it.. squib

  • so far I've raced a ZX6R, a R6 and the GSXR600 from a 20 roll and a 40 roll and smashed all of them on my '09 CBR600. We raced on a freeway with a few turns and on a backroad with lots of twists and turns. I'm no pro, but was still able to outrun all of them. Its the easiest bike to ride, and the fastest.

  • guy b real cbrs trash i ride 08 zx6 the only bike that can keep up is a r6 cbrs trash guy sorry an my homebois 08 gsxr600 barely keeps up n a mode sorry i jus dont believe it if u stayd in tx id run u guy

  • I used to ride an 07 cbr and I didnt win against anything, but I am 200 lbs. When you race another bike you have to make sure you are even in the same class, such as weight and gearing. I have an 09 10r and I raced an 05 r1, I lost because I am 60 lbs heavier than the other guy, but if weight was the same I would have smoked.

  • i dont believe you at all, the 2009 zx6 and the r6 have so much more racing technology than a cbr 600rr does.......its the truth

  • what makes you think that?

  • :S there all good bikes man but the cbr 6 was the first bike to ever have GP tech ona road bike in 2005 i tihnk it was, depends on the rider zx's are just insaine were as r6s are more controlled racers

  • Its the truth? Thats why the cbr has won best 600 for 2007 2008 and will probley win 2009 i havent seen the 2009 shootout yet Thats the truth. sorry buddy.

  • ur wrong....r6 won the test in 2008....lol u know alot

  • o sorry. your right i might be wrong i was just watching a vid vrs the new 09 zx6r and they said there were putting it up against the 2008 shootout winner the honda cbr

  • wHeRe'S tHe DuCaTi 848? i NiD To KnOw wHiCh Is tHe BesT BikE 4 ThS yEaR. i'M jUsT cUrIoUs.

  • FuCK ofF

  • fuCk u 2 u gRaNmA's wHoRe

  • fUcK U 2 bOi LiL Boi

  • its 200cc bigger than the others lol... I know power isnt too much different though but still

  • triumph is only 675 making it less than 100cc bigger than all the other bikes. which are all 599cc. Lucky they didnt throw in the duke monster which is 698 aswell.

  • Triumph 675 is the winner. Fastest around the track, looks the best, second most HP, highest torque figure, lightest...

  • zx6r all the way

  • what i mean is when you ride yamaha/honda compared to suzuki/kawasaki just even when u grab the handlebars they feel more solid more put togetehr i geuss you could say... and by the way there is no way these are going to be running around 120 hp without some serious engine modifiying much more than and exhaust pc3 and custom map trust me... and i dont "hate" kawasaki i was looking into getting a 05 or 06 636 "cheater" bike i like the green. i just think the new zx6r is ugly

  • can't beleieve the 675 is the fastest in the track must be the extra 75cc...lolz

  • the guy just said the r6 was the best track bike from last year... unless ur speaking about 09

  • According to the magazine article the Daytona 675 was the fastest, with 3 of the 5 test riders recording their fastest times on the Daytona, with a 4th coming very close.

  • Im with sebze835 the ZX6R came out on top this year

  • The new 6R will decimate...just like the 10R. The friggin bike lost 22 pounds and gained impressive peak and midrange horsepower. aftermarket exhaust should drop another almost 17 pounds and put you at about 122 at the wheel.....depending. It also has the new BPF set-up.leaner meaner and greener...what's not to love?

  • kawasaki is junk i think yamaha and honda are the best then suzuki and kawasaki. the r6 handles better than any of the other bike hands down. and weight doesn't mean a whole lot cause as soon as u start modifying a bike it drops wewight anyways. of course i might be a little bias since i am running a 2008 Yamaha R6

  • plus zx6r exhaust is horrid looking... almost like someone made it in a garage.. there going to be selling a lot of slip-on for kawi and new suzuki

  • No doubt about the exhaust. Seems todays bikes are getting odder and uglier exhaust set-ups. Although OEM exhausts usually mean very, very little to the average enthusiast...seeing as the first mod to a bike is typically a slip-on/full system w/PCIII/etc.

I mean, this 6R has a slipper clutch / new BPF front end / Ohlins SD / more peak power / more midrange / less weight / and handles like a scalpel. Granted I am a little bias myself about bikes, seeing as I own a 10R. Team Green woot woot! :-D

  • Kawasaki is junk? Why because you ride a Yamaha, a brand known for good chassis' but weak powerplants? Wait unless you are talking about fit/finish? In this case Kawasaki has been on par with Yamaha/Suzuki/Honda for years now. As far as the weight not meaning much? We use horsepower to weight ratios typically to gauge the performance of vehicles. Weight is EVERYTHING on current 600 class bikes. Considering that they already extract 130+chp from 599cc engines, weight is important! VERY IMPORTANT

  • The looks, they ruined the looks compared to the 08

  • yamaha r6 is the best!!!!

  • should be around this few days can't wait to see the result : )

  • 6 best...always the best....sexiest look,best sound, best handling,best acceleration.best top speed with 290...u get every girl with the r6

yes I am the same opinion

    cbr 600 is shit

now they stick ABS for the fuckers who can not drive a bike

  • squid

  • jus got that zx6r so whoever got anotha 600 out their lets take it to da streets fuk all that talk ps limited edition

  • I got it too. Its WAAAAAAY faster this year. Seriously people have no clue until these magazines start doing the comparisons. Kawasaki raised the bar way up

  • 1) R6, better fine tuning, all-round

    2) CBR, perfect but less inspired

    3) Daytona, the best one could get from material

    4) GSX, no grunt

    5) ZX-6R, BPF but bad rear suspension

  • r6 best...always the best....sexiest look,best sound, best handling,best acceleration.best top speed with 290...u get every girl with the r6

  • who cares about top speed? 90% of people buys these bkes to ride on the road, so ithink doing a track test is pointless because most people won't use it in that manner. Show us a street and city version of this test.

  • oh yes we will ......

  • r6 is not the fastest accelerating that title goes to the cbr and triumph. R6 is gutless everywhere in the power band except up top

  • you could change the final drive and bring the power band down for better acceleration.

  • I don't know about an all around test, But If it's just lap times, The Kawasaki is the lightest and the most powerful 600 ever. I'm gonna go with the zx6r. Kawa's been gettin' some really shitty reviews & They aint fuckin around this yeat

  • ** THIS YEAR....KAWASAKI

  • cbr is still the lightest

  • what happened next dip shit??

  • Winner of:

    2007= CBR600rr

    2008= CBR600rr

2009= Do I even have to tell you....

    Honda All The Way!!

  • The real winner is the rider. All these bikes are great. It's up to the rider to make the difference.

  • 1) 2009 r6

    2) 2009 zx6r

    3) 2009 cbr600rr

    4) 2009 triumph 675

    5) 2009 gixxer 600

  • all about the green machine

  • the 675 will win

  • I think that kawi will do good this year because it look a lot like its big litter bike.

  • because it has one cylinder less!!

  • how is it even considered EVEN competition if the triumph has an extra 76cc?

  • easy, it has one less cylinder.

  • It has one less cylinder, I dont think the Triumph will keep up with the japs anyway.

  • And....... the 675 is a beast and just because it has one less cylinder means nothing.

  • its either the cbr or the r6 that win

  • Where's the test.. stop teasing us! ;)

  • it's a tough job being a mcn tester!

  • Must be a hard life. I really feel for those guys. :D

  • well if i must say that was AMAZING haha the details were just fantastic haha honstly i liked it it was great ... you cuaght my attention right at the beginning

  • some of my mates are having to trade in newer bikes for older bikes to save money at the mo, i've just sold mine, so using the car all the time, seeing those new bikes just pisses me off, i've lost my biking mojo!!

  • Nice line up of awsome bikes!!!

  • i would have to go out on a limb and say that it would be outa the yamaha or the honda

  • no way that new daytona is sick..

  • yeah and it looks stunning but the thing i love most about the daytona is the price its cheap as chips. still dont think it would beat the hon or the yam sorry to say it. i love the bike i just dont think it has what it takes

  • kingy are you kidding that bike has like 15 more hp and 5 more torque and weighs like 10 pounds less than the 600's...and the suspension is just as good.

  • the cbr is still 10lbs lighter than the daytona

  • That was gay and a waste of my time. I just subscribed but keep this bullshit up and I'm done with this channel.

  • If they're just going by times...I'd say the ZX-6R has it.
